Anbar opened in 2019 on Stanley Street with a simple conviction: that halal dining deserves a place at the very top table. Our founders, a Singaporean family with roots across the Levant, wanted a restaurant where Muslim and non-Muslim friends could gather over food worth celebrating — without compromise, and fully certified.
We assembled a culinary team honed in the region’s top fine-dining kitchens and asked them to reimagine heritage Middle-Eastern flavours — mezze, charcoal grills, slow-cooked ouzi — with modern technique and impeccable produce. Everything is MUIS halal-certified, charcoal-grilled to order, and plated with the kind of care you would expect from any fine-dining room.
Five years on, Anbar has become a place for the moments that matter — anniversaries, reunions, bespoke celebrations — as much as a midweek dinner worth dressing up for. Two candlelit rooms, 120 seats, and a kitchen that still believes a great feast brings people together. We would love to set a table for you.
