Digital Perm

Soft, heat-set Japanese waves that fall naturally and hold for months with almost no styling.

A digital perm is the Japanese answer to “I want waves but I cannot style them every day.” Unlike a cold perm, it uses gentle heat-controlled rods, so the curl is set softer and looser — closer to a lived-in beach wave than a tight spiral — and it reads most clearly when your hair is dry, which is how you actually wear it.

Because the wave is built into the hair, your morning routine shrinks to almost nothing: scrunch in a little product, air-dry or rough-dry, and the movement is simply there. It is especially kind to fine, flat hair that never holds a curling iron, and to anyone tired of fighting their hair before work.

We protect the hair throughout with a bond treatment, choose a rod size to suit your length and the look you are after, and place the wave to flatter your face rather than blanket the whole head. With a little care it holds beautifully for four to six months as it grows out.
