Maternity & nursing wear, made by a mum who needed it
Nurtured started in 2018, in the months after our founder Charmaine Yeo had her first baby in a Tiong Bahru walk-up. She loved her job and her old wardrobe, and suddenly neither fit — maternity pieces were either tents or imported sizes that pulled across an Asian frame, and most nursing tops looked like nursing tops.
So she began sketching the wardrobe she actually wanted: pieces cut to grow with the bump, open easily for feeds, and survive a Singapore afternoon — that you would happily wear with or without a baby on your hip. The first run sold out among the mums in her antenatal group, and word spread from there.
Today every Nurtured piece is drawn up here at home and graded to flatter real bodies right across pregnancy, feeding and the messy, wonderful weeks that follow. We trial each style on mums at different stages before it ever launches, because a dress that will not open for a feed, or gives up by lunchtime, has no business being sold as maternity wear.

Made to be worn, washed and handed down
Fabrics that last
We choose bamboo, modal and recycled blends that survive heavy wash cycles, so a piece earns its place across more than one pregnancy.
Made to be handed down
Our pieces are built to be passed to a sister or a friend, not thrown away after one baby — better for them and for the planet.
Kinder production
We work with a small SG-based supply chain we visit ourselves, and ship in recycled, plastic-light packaging.
