A small studio that believes nursery furniture should be kept, not replaced
Nestwood began in 2017 above a workshop on Tan Boon Liat Building, when Rachel Sim went looking for a cot for her first child and found a choice between flimsy flat-pack and furniture that cost more than the pram. Neither felt right for a piece a child would sleep in every night for years.
So we built the store we wanted: a tight, carefully chosen range of solid-wood cots, dressers, gliders and beds that are safe, that convert as a child grows, and that are honest about what they are made of. We would rather sell one cot that lasts than three that do not.
Today a small team furnishes nurseries across the island, from compact HDB second rooms to landed homes. We deliver, assemble and clear up, and we back our workmanship for ten years — because furniture made to be kept should be made to last.

The people behind Nestwood
A small team you will actually speak to.
Started Nestwood after furnishing her own first nursery. Travels to the workshops we buy from and signs off every new piece personally.
Runs our white-glove team. If your cot arrives level and the room is clear of packaging, that is Daniel’s doing.
Helps parents plan a room around the space they actually have — measuring tape and floor plan in hand, no upselling.
