From a Boon Lay home kitchen in 1998 to one of Singapore’s trusted halal caterers
Heritage halal flavours, cooked from scratch and served with warmth since 1998.
Rasa Table started in 1998 when our founder, Mak Rosnah, began cooking generous halal spreads for neighbours’ kenduri and family weddings out of a small Boon Lay flat. Word of her rendang and briyani travelled fast, and soon she was catering events across the West.
Twenty-five years on, that home kitchen has grown into a MUIS halal-certified central kitchen serving offices, weddings, and celebrations all over Singapore — but the recipes, and the warmth, are exactly the same. Every spread still starts with heritage Malay and Peranakan flavours, cooked from scratch.
We have catered over 38,000 events, from a 20-seat seminar lunch to a 500-guest wedding banquet, and the thing we are proudest of has not changed: a table that brings people together, food that tastes like home, and a team that turns up on time, sets up beautifully, and clears up after. That is the Rasa Table.
The Rasa Table way
A MUIS halal-certified central kitchen
Every dish is cooked fresh in our halal-certified central kitchen in the West, by a team that has been with us for years. We cook from scratch, in small batches, the way it was done on that first home stove — just at the scale to feed 500 guests.
