We steep good jasmine tea into a light cordial and shake it long with gin and fresh lime until it turns silky. A splash of soda stretches it into something you can nurse for an hour without it tiring you out.
It is delicate without being shy — the jasmine sits right on top, the lime keeps it honest, and the gin holds the middle. You can take it with a little egg white for a softer texture, or leave it bright and clean.
We finish it with a single edible flower, because a drink this pretty deserves it.
