Our founder Rachel Quek spent eight years planning weddings and corporate events in Singapore. The work she liked least was the part everyone hated: hunting for a room. Emailing the same brief to a dozen venues, waiting days for half of them to reply, and watching clients pay an agency to do something she could do in an afternoon because she simply knew the spaces.
Gather is that knowledge, opened up. We list only spaces we have visited in person, with capacities that are honest and from-prices that are real. Hosts search, shortlist and send one enquiry to everyone at once; venues get qualified briefs instead of tyre-kickers. We take nothing from the host and a fair cut from the venue when a booking lands — so a listing's from-price stays the venue's own rate, with nothing added on top.
We are deliberately not an agency. We do not mark up a single dollar, we do not hold your money, and we do not pretend a room fits when it does not. When a brief is tricky, our concierge will hand-pick for you and flag the things a photo never shows — but the booking is always yours, made directly with the venue.
