Frequently asked questions

Appointments, opening hours, CHAS and Healthier SG, screening, chronic care, and how we keep your information private.

Both work. You’re welcome to walk in during opening hours, and we’ll see you as soon as we can. But booking an appointment — online, on WhatsApp, or by phone — means a guaranteed slot and the shortest wait, which is worth it for screening, chronic-care reviews and busy evening periods. For an urgent acute illness, walking in is completely fine.
We have two clinics — Beacon @ Bedok in the east and Beacon @ Jurong in the west — open Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 9pm, and on weekends in the morning. The late evening and weekend hours are deliberate: a family clinic should fit around work and school, not force you to take a day off to see a doctor.
Yes to all three. We’re a CHAS clinic, so eligible patients get government subsidies on consultations and chronic care, and we’re enrolled in Healthier SG — we’d be glad to be your enrolled clinic. Many services, including health screening and chronic disease management, are Medisave-claimable. We’ll always apply the subsidies you’re entitled to and explain what you’ll pay before anything is done.
It’s a quick guide, not a diagnosis: you tell it your age, sex and how thorough you want to be, and it suggests a suitable screening package with the typical inclusions and price. It’s the signature tool on our site and a good starting point — at your visit, the doctor reviews your history and risk factors and tailors the actual package to you. The firm price is confirmed before any test is done.
That’s the whole idea of a family clinic. We care for every age — babies and children, adults, and seniors — and you can see the same family physician across the family, so your doctor builds a picture of your household’s health over time. Continuity like this genuinely improves care: nothing falls through the cracks, and you’re not re-explaining your history every visit.
Yes — chronic disease management is one of the things a family clinic does best. We enrol you under Healthier SG and the Chronic Disease Management Programme, set a clear care plan with goals, and see you on a regular rhythm to keep your numbers on track, adjusting medication as needed. Seeing the same doctor each time, who knows your history, makes a real difference to how well a long-term condition is controlled.
No. Anything on this site is general wellness information to help you understand your options, not a diagnosis or a substitute for seeing a doctor. Everyone’s situation is different, so please book an appointment for advice specific to you — and if you have severe or worsening symptoms, seek urgent care or call 995. (Beacon Family Clinic is a fictional demo clinic built by SGBP.)
Your records, contact details and anything you tell us stay confidential and are used solely to provide and coordinate your care, held under medical confidentiality and Singapore’s data-protection law (the PDPA). Nothing is sold or passed on beyond your care team, and the booking and enquiry forms here ask only for what we need to reach you.
