Salon-grade haircare, blended down the road in Jalan Besar

Hairloom started in 2019 out of ten years of colouring hair for a living. Our founder kept seeing the same thing: clients leaving the chair glowing, then returning a fortnight later with the frizz, fade and flat roots that supermarket bottles never touched. The salon-quality formulas that would have helped existed — they were just gated behind salon prices and standing appointments.

So we set out to bottle that salon quality for the bathroom shelf, blended in small batches in our Jalan Besar lab and tuned for the one thing Singapore hair fights every single day: humidity. No sulphates, no silicone build-up, no marketing fluff — just formulas a stylist would actually reach for.

Today more than 92,000 bottles have gone out to bathrooms from Woodlands to the East Coast, and a fair few beyond Singapore too. Every wash, mask and tonic is trialled on real local scalps in real local weather before it earns a spot in the range. If a formula gives up by mid-afternoon in the heat, it never reaches the shelf.
