Our story
Halal-certified colour cosmetics, made for Singapore skin.
Halal makeup that finally felt right — started in a Bugis flat
Inara began in 2020 when Nurul Aziz grew tired of choosing between halal assurance and makeup that actually performed. Most “halal-friendly” options either smudged in the heat, sat heavy on the skin, or were vague about how the ingredients were sourced. So she started blending small batches at home in Bugis, with one rule: every formula must be genuinely halal-certified and pleasant to wear in Singapore weather.
The first Soft Stain Lip Tint sold out in a weekend, and word spread quickly through community groups and the Haji Lane crowd. We have since shipped over 120,000 orders to homes here and beyond, and opened two studios where you can shade-match in person.
Everything we make is halal-certified to MUIS-recognised standards, formulated to be wudhu-friendly and breathable, and never tested on animals. If a product cannot pass both our certification check and a long humid day, it does not make it to the shelf.
