Teakwood Bale brings a slow, Bali-style calm to a short Bintan hop. It is built the old way — teak, thatch and open pavilions — and arranged around a quiet garden pool with a shaded bale you will end up napping in more than once.

Three bedrooms sleep six, each with its own outdoor rain shower, and the living space is open-air, so the garden is always part of the room. Fresh flowers, slow mornings and the sound of the trees do most of the work here.

You book the whole villa, so the garden and pool stay yours. In-villa spa treatments and a private breakfast are easy to arrange — many guests do exactly that and barely leave the gate for the whole stay.
