A small studio with a stubborn belief

Studio Nook began in 2019 at a moodboard table in a Tiong Bahru walk-up, with a simple belief: most homes don’t need a renovation, they need styling. So much of what leaves a space feeling resolved — the layout, the layering, the light, the small considered choices — has nothing to do with hacking walls and everything to do with a stylist’s eye.

We style homes all over the island, from HDB resale flats and new condos to the occasional landed property, speaking a warm, lived-in language rather than a cold show-flat one. We keep the studio deliberately tiny — four stylists who would rather give a handful of homes our full attention than rush dozens at arm’s length. Whoever you start with stays with you, from that first consult to the day the last cushion is placed.

The work runs from a single-room restyle to a whole-home scheme, plus home staging for owners about to sell and online E-Design for the do-it-yourself crowd. There’s no one house style holding it together — our clients lean japandi, coastal, mid-century and maximalist alike — just a shared habit: listen hard, edit honestly, hunt down pieces with care, and leave a room looking as though it grew that way on its own.
