A small studio, on purpose
Hweeling opened Wisp on Craig Road in 2019 after years lashing in busier, brighter salons where every chair was full and every guest was rushed. She wanted the opposite — a small studio with one bed, soft light, and enough time to do careful, honest work.
The philosophy has not changed since. We keep the studio quiet on purpose, take one guest at a time, and design every lift, set and brow around your own features rather than a trend. If a simple lift will suit you better than a full volume set, we will gladly say so.
Today a small team of three artists looks after a loyal, mostly word-of-mouth following from the studio in Tanjong Pagar — first-timers nervous about their very first lift, regulars in every three weeks for a fill, and brides who want to look like themselves on the day. The calm is the point, and we have protected it carefully.
