From hide to heirloom

Four hands, a few tools, and a couple of days. Here’s what goes into every piece.

Step 1

Selecting the hide

We hand-pick full-grain, vegetable-tanned hides — the top layer, with the grain intact, so it ages into a patina instead of peeling.

Step 2

Each panel is cut by hand and skived at the edges so the leather folds clean and sits flat.

Step 3

We saddle-stitch by hand — two needles, one waxed thread — the strongest stitch there is.

Step 4

Your initials are heat-pressed in real foil, the final mark that makes it unmistakably yours.
