Everything first-timers (and regulars) tend to ask about a Goldhour tan.
HomeFAQ
No — avoiding exactly that is the whole reason we exist. We mix a bespoke solution to your skin tone and undertone, and apply it by hand so it develops into a warm, golden colour rather than the flat orange of an off-the-shelf booth tan. If you have ever been disappointed by a spray tan, our Tan Shade Finder is a good place to start, or just tell us what went wrong last time and we’ll match you properly.
Exfoliate the day before, and come to your appointment with clean, bare skin — no body lotion, make-up, deodorant or perfume, as these stop the solution gripping evenly. Shave or wax at least a day ahead so pores have closed. If you’d rather we handle it, add our Pre-Tan Prep & Exfoliation and we’ll get your skin in perfect condition on the day.
A Signature Glow typically lasts 7 to 10 days, depending on your skin and your routine. Moisturise daily, take cooler showers, pat dry rather than rub, and avoid long soaks, chlorine and heavy exfoliation. A quick Tan Top-Up between sessions keeps it warm and even, and we sell gentle tan-extending products at the studio to stretch it further.
Yes. Our Express Rapid Spray Tan uses a fast-develop formula where you choose your depth by how soon you rinse — about two hours for a subtle glow, up to four for a deeper bronze. Book it as early in the day as you can, arrive already exfoliated and bare-skinned, and we’ll plan your exact rinse time around when you need to be ready.
No, and this matters: a sunless tan is purely cosmetic and offers no protection from UV at all. You still need proper sunscreen outdoors exactly as you would untanned. We’ll never tell you otherwise — a Goldhour glow is about how you look, not a substitute for sun safety.
We can. Our Mobile Group Glow brings a portable suite to your home, hotel or venue and tans the whole group in turn, island-wide — Sentosa and the East Coast included. There’s a small minimum group size, and the per-person rate improves as the group grows. We plan the running order with you so it fits neatly around hair, make-up and the rest of the day.
Many people tan comfortably while pregnant or with sensitive skin, but do flag it at the point of booking so our artist can patch-test and, if you prefer, switch to a gentler formula. If you’re pregnant, have a skin condition, or have any concern, we’d suggest checking with your doctor first — we’re tan artists, not medical professionals, and we’d always rather you were sure.
Settle by PayNow, card or Atome instalments. Everything is itemised up front — the service, any add-ons and the studio or mobile fee — so the total on the day is the total you agreed, with nothing locking you in. For presents, we do gift cards loaded to any service, any bundle or a value you choose, which makes an easy gift for a bride-to-be or a holiday-bound friend.
Whatever you share when booking — your contact number, your usual tone, any sensitivity or pregnancy note — stays between you and your tan artist and is protected under the PDPA. We use it only to confirm your appointment and look after your skin that day. We don’t sell it, and we don’t pass it to anyone else.
