What does a Goldhour site actually do for my Singapore tanning studio?
It turns your studio’s website into a booking and trust engine in about a week from S$900. You get a warm, glowing site you can try yourself in the live demo, an appointment-booking flow, the signature Tan Shade Finder that turns a client’s skin tone, depth and occasion into a service with sessions and a price, a service menu, tan-artist profiles, a two-studio-plus-mobile locator and reviews — all built to turn searches into booked tans, and yours to own outright with running costs from S$15/mo.
Clients choose a tanning studio on two things: do you make people look genuinely golden rather than orange, and can they book the right tan for their skin and their event without a back-and-forth. Yet many studios run a thin Instagram-only presence or a dated site that hides the price list, buries the studio address and says nothing about which tan suits which skin. Goldhour flips that: a warm bronze-and-gold site with a glowing hero, clear dark-photo service cards, named tan artists, an easy studio-plus-mobile locator and an instant shade finder — so a client goes from “will I look orange, and what will it cost?” to a booked appointment in a couple of taps.
The signature Tan Shade Finder is the standout, and it directly addresses what clients hesitate over: which tan they need and how many sessions and dollars it will take. A client picks their current skin tone, the depth they’re after — subtle glow to holiday bronze — and the occasion, and the tool recommends the right service, a sensible number of sessions and an indicative price, then sends it pre-filled to WhatsApp to book. It educates, sets expectations and lands the enquiry warm.
And it’s an asset you own, not a rental. You keep 100% of the code and a self-editable CMS, so you update services, tan artists, studio hours, the finder’s prices and content yourself without paying a developer per change. After launch you only pay what you choose — managed hosting from S$15/mo and optional care from S$150/mo. Start at S$900, then add an appointment calendar, area landing pages, a client portal or CRM integration as you grow, up to around S$2,600.
- Launch in 7–14 days from S$900 — a real booking engine, not an Instagram bio link.
- A warm, glowing design and named tan artists that build trust before the first appointment.
- The Tan Shade Finder turns skin tone + depth + occasion into a service, sessions AND price — and books clients warm.
- Clear services, prices and a studio-plus-mobile locator — the things clients actually search for.
- You own 100% of the code plus a self-editable CMS — update services and prices yourself, no agency lock-in.
- Predictable running costs: managed hosting from S$15/mo and optional care from S$150/mo, not an open-ended retainer.

What problems does a done-for-you Goldhour site fix that DIY and freelancers don’t?
It removes what frustrates most studios: an Instagram-only presence, no easy booking, hidden prices and addresses, no way to match a tan to a client’s skin, a look that doesn’t reassure, sites you can’t edit, agency lock-in, missing local SEO and surprise costs. You get a complete, glow-first tanning website — with the Tan Shade Finder, appointment booking, a service menu, tan artists and a studio-plus-mobile locator — that you own outright, live in 7–14 days from S$900.
Most tanning studios trying to fix their web presence hit the same wall. An Instagram-only page can’t be booked, can’t be found on Google and can’t set price expectations. A dated site is slow on mobile, buries the booking link and the price list, and says nothing about which tan suits which skin — so a nervous first-timer (who has seen a friend go orange) clicks away. A cheap template looks generic and doesn’t reassure. A freelancer can vanish mid-build or hand over something you can’t touch. A full agency may quote thousands and tie you to their platform. Goldhour is designed to remove each of those frustrations.
Speed and conversion: instead of months of theme-wrangling, your site is customised from a proven, warm tanning demo and typically delivered in 7–14 days — with a glowing hero, the Tan Shade Finder, a service menu, named tan artists, a studio-plus-mobile locator and appointment booking that actually turn searches into booked tans.
A look that reassures the orange-shy: a sunless tan is bought on trust that you won’t get it wrong, so the design is a warm bronze-and-gold system with golden-glow imagery, named tan artists, clear before/after-care and honest reviews. It reads as a careful, transparent studio rather than a recoloured template — exactly what reassures a first-timer.
Ownership and cost: you own 100% of the code and edit everything — services, tan artists, hours, finder prices — through a self-editable CMS, so you’re never tied to a retainer. On-page SEO, GA4 and clean markup are delivered as standard. Pricing is a transparent customiser from S$900 to S$2,600 with 3 revision rounds included — no vague “it depends” invoices.
- Instagram-only / dated site → A fast, mobile-first, reassuring tanning site clients trust.
- Hard to book → Appointment booking plus WhatsApp-first enquiry on every page.
- Hidden prices, address & “which tan?” → Clear prices, studio locator and a finder that matches a tan to the skin.
- No way to set price expectations → The Tan Shade Finder shows sessions and an indicative price up front.
- Can’t edit it yourself → A self-editable CMS lets you update services, artists and hours without a developer.
- Locked into an agency → You own 100% of the code; hosting (from S$15/mo) and care (from S$150/mo) are optional.
- Surprise costs → A transparent customiser shows your price from S$900 to S$2,600 up front, 3 revisions included.

SGBP vs a Singapore agency, freelancer or DIY — which is right for your tanning-studio site?
For a Singapore tanning studio, SGBP customises the live Goldhour site — Tan Shade Finder, appointment booking, tan artists and a studio-plus-mobile locator and all — in 7–14 days from S$900 to S$2,600, and you own 100% of the code with no lock-in. Singapore agencies typically quote far more over several weeks; freelancers vary widely; a DIY builder is cheapest but rarely converts or reassures.
Most Singapore agencies do solid work, but a custom studio site is often a multi-thousand-dollar scope spread over weeks — and many keep you on their platform. You can end up paying for process you don’t need when there’s already a proven, glow-first tanning design ready to customise.
A freelancer can be cheaper and faster, but quality, code ownership and follow-up swing widely — and tanning-specific touches like the Tan Shade Finder, appointment booking, a tan-artist section and a studio-plus-mobile locator are rarely built in well. A DIY website builder is the lowest cash outlay, but it rarely converts, seldom reassures a first-timer, and leaves you wrestling templates instead of tanning clients.
SGBP sits in between on purpose: you start from the live Goldhour demo, so you can see and click exactly what you’re buying, then we customise it to your studio and services. Every build is delivered with on-page SEO (with an SEO/AEO upgrade option), SSL, GA4, PDPA-aware forms, a self-editable CMS and a handover manual — the things that often become paid “add-ons” elsewhere.
- Time and cost: 7–14 days, from S$900 to S$2,600 one-time, versus the weeks and far higher fees a custom agency build typically involves.
- Ownership: you keep 100% of the code and your content — no platform lock-in.
- See before you buy: the live Goldhour demo is the actual product, Tan Shade Finder and booking and all.
- Built to convert: the finder, appointment booking, tan artists and locator are part of the build, not quoted extra.
- Singapore-ready: PDPA-aware data handling, SGD pricing, PayNow / Atome framing and local tone throughout.
- Optional, not obligatory: managed hosting from S$15/mo and a Care plan from S$150/mo if you want it hands-off.

What is under the hood of your Goldhour tanning site?
Under the hood is static-first Astro, exactly what this demo runs on, or a hardened WordPress or Webflow build, served over a global CDN with modern compression and caching. It is fast, WCAG 2.2 AA accessible, SSL-secured and PDPA-aware, and yours to deploy anywhere.
The native build, exactly what this demo runs on, is static-first Astro with a headless CMS and minimal JavaScript. Prefer a familiar CMS? We build a hardened WordPress (+S$250) or Webflow (+S$200) site instead. Whichever you choose, it’s served over a global CDN with modern compression and caching, so it stays fast during a campaign spike or a bridal-season rush.
We tune for Core Web Vitals: the full-bleed hero, dark-photo service cards and glow gallery are lazy-loaded in modern formats (WebP/AVIF) with set dimensions to avoid layout shift, so the site and the interactive Tan Shade Finder stay snappy on every device — including the phones most clients book from. We build to WCAG 2.2 AA so the booking flow is keyboard- and screen-reader-friendly.
SSL/HTTPS and security headers are enforced, the appointment and enquiry forms are spam-protected, and data handling is PDPA-aware. Add CRM integration and bookings can pipe into your workflow. You own 100% of the source code, with no lock-in, so you can host with us from S$15/mo or deploy anywhere yourself.
- Static-first Astro, or a hardened WordPress or Webflow build
- Core Web Vitals tuned; WCAG 2.2 AA accessible, semantic HTML
- Interactive Tan Shade Finder runs efficiently client-side
- SSL/HTTPS and security headers; PDPA-aware data handling
- Spam-protected appointment & enquiry forms with optional CRM integration
- Clean SEO markup, XML sitemaps and GA4 included as standard
- 100% source-code ownership, no lock-in, deploy anywhere

Will my Goldhour site rank on Google and get quoted by ChatGPT?
Every build is delivered search-ready: clean semantic HTML, a JSON-LD schema graph (LocalBusiness / HealthAndBeautyBusiness, Service, FAQ, Review, Breadcrumb), fast Core Web Vitals, XML sitemaps and Search Console. Answer-first content and Singapore signals — local areas, MRT names, PDPA, natural local language — give Google, AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity and voice assistants what they need to find and quote you. No rankings are guaranteed.
Plenty of tanning studios live on Instagram alone or run a slow, marked-up-badly site — so neither Google nor AI engines can tell what services you offer or where you are. We build the opposite. Your Goldhour site is delivered with clean semantic HTML5, correct heading order, descriptive alt text, canonical tags and a tidy URL structure. Rankings always depend on your area and competition, but the technical groundwork is done right from day one.
Here’s the jargon in plain terms. SEO helps you rank on Google for searches like “spray tan Tanjong Pagar” or “sunless tan Singapore price”. AEO and AIO help your content get surfaced and quoted by ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews when someone asks how to prep for a spray tan or which tan won’t look orange. GEO makes sure those answers know you serve Singapore and your area. Voice covers Siri, Google Assistant and Alexa.
The engine is a JSON-LD schema graph baked into every page: LocalBusiness / HealthAndBeautyBusiness markup so your studio is machine-readable; Service markup for your tans; FAQPage so your common answers can be lifted into AI replies; Review markup for trust; BreadcrumbList for structure. The advanced SEO/AEO pack adds speakable markup, Bing and Search Console setup, service / area landing pages and an answer-engine optimisation pass — an optional upgrade on the S$900 base build.
- Clean semantic markup: HTML5 structure, logical headings, descriptive alt text and canonical tags.
- Full JSON-LD schema graph: LocalBusiness / HealthAndBeautyBusiness, Service, FAQPage, Review and BreadcrumbList.
- Service & area pages target high-intent local long-tail: “bridal spray tan Katong”, “mobile spray tan East Coast”.
- Fast Core Web Vitals: image-optimised, mobile-first pages — a Google ranking factor that also keeps clients from bouncing.
- Answer-first content: service copy and FAQs written question-led and concise, so AI engines can quote them cleanly.
- Sitemaps & Search Console: XML and image sitemaps plus robots.txt submitted to Google (and Bing).
- Singapore signals: local areas, MRT names, PayNow / Atome, PDPA-aware handling and natural local language.
- You own 100% of the code with a self-editable CMS — update a service and its SEO fields and schema update automatically.

What does each page of my Goldhour tanning site actually look like?
You get a full studio site, not a single page: a glow-first homepage with a full-bleed hero, a service menu, a detail page per service, a dedicated Tan Shade Finder, a glow-plans page, a studio page with tan-artist profiles, a reviews page, an FAQ and an appointment / contact page — rebuilt with your studio, artists and tone.
We start from the live Goldhour demo and rebuild every page around your studio, brand and services. Nothing stays as filler: your services, tan artists, studio photos, hours, copy and reviews replace the demo content, and each page keeps the features that make the demo convert — the full-bleed golden hero, the dark-photo service cards, the Tan Shade Finder, the tan-artist section, the studio-plus-mobile locator and the booking flow — wired to you.
Every page is delivered mobile-first with clean SEO markup, PDPA-aware forms and a self-editable CMS, so you can update hours, add a tan artist or edit a service long after handover. The pages below are what’s included in the base S$900 build; site scope, an appointment calendar, advanced SEO, a client portal and CRM integration are where the customiser adds cost, up to S$2,600.
Singapore signals are built in where they help: local area references, MRT names, PayNow / Atome framing, a warm reassuring tone and honest copy throughout. You own 100% of the code, and it’s typically delivered in 7–14 days.
- Homepage — a full-bleed golden-glow hero, a stat strip, a welcome split, a four-point difference row, dark-photo service cards, the Tan Shade Finder, how-it-works, glow plans, reviews, a studio preview and a CTA — all rebranded to you.
- Services — every tan as a dark-photo card grouped by category, each linking to a detail page.
- Service detail — a golden photo banner, a two-column article and clear before/after-care bands.
- Tan Shade Finder — a dedicated page hosting the signature tool and a how-to-read-it explainer.
- Glow plans — first-tan, multi-tan, event and mobile bundles as clear, priced cards.
- The studio — your story, a stats band, why-us, the studio spaces and tan-artist profiles.
- Reviews — client review cards with a trust-stat strip.
- FAQ — a serif question accordion, ready for FAQ schema.
- Book an appointment / contact — a booking form (no cart): studio or mobile, service, time and a PDPA-aware consent, plus WhatsApp.

Can the Goldhour site scale from a single studio to a multi-location brand as I grow?
Yes. Your site starts lean at five pages and scales to a 20+ page brand with a full service library, area landing pages, multiple studio locations, a tan-artist directory, an appointment calendar, a client portal, CRM integration and even a second language. Add the Tan Shade Finder from day one. Because you own 100% of the code, there is no platform lock-in holding you back.
Most studios launch with a focused presence and broaden as they grow. Goldhour is built for that curve. Day one you might run a tight five-page site with a home, services, the finder and booking. As you grow, the customiser lets you step up to 10 or 20+ pages, adding a detail page per service, area landing pages and a tan-care content engine — so growing the site is a content exercise rather than a rebuild.
Adding studios and tan artists is built in: the locator and tan-artist sections scale through the CMS, so a second or third studio and new artists slot in cleanly, each strengthening your local SEO. The native Astro build is delivered as a fast, static, mobile-first site served over a global CDN, so it stays fast as the site grows. When you’re ready, switch on an appointment calendar, a client portal and CRM integration.
Serving more languages? A multilingual content layer can be added across key pages, with your Singapore positioning staying native. The real future-proofing is ownership: you hold 100% of the code and your content, delivered with a handover manual in 7–14 days, so the same codebase extends instead of forcing a restart.
- Site scope scales from 5 to 20+ pages; add services, area pages and resources as content rather than a rebuild
- The studio locator and tan-artist sections scale through the CMS — new studios and artists slot in and strengthen local SEO
- The native Astro build is static and CDN-served, so it stays fast as you grow; WordPress / Webflow builds are hardened and CDN-served too
- Automate as you grow: an appointment calendar, a client portal and CRM integration
- Add channels: WhatsApp booking, live chat and a secure client area
- A multilingual content layer is available for more clients, with your Singapore positioning native
- You own 100% of the code and your content, so there is no forced re-platform as you scale

Can I run my Goldhour site myself without a developer?
Yes. Your site is delivered with a self-editable CMS, so you add and edit services, tan artists, studio hours and locations, the Tan Shade Finder’s prices, pages and reviews, and check your GA4 numbers without touching code. Every task is documented in a plain-English handover manual, and you own 100% of the build.
Running a studio site is mostly small, repeatable updates: changed opening hours, an artist joining or leaving, a new seasonal service, a festive promo, a fresh review. We build all of this into a clean CMS dashboard, so you log in, change the thing you came to change and hit publish. No staging files, no FTP, no “please email the developer”.
Each module from the live demo has a matching settings panel. Your services, your tan artists, your studio locations and hours, the Tan Shade Finder’s tones, depths, prices and add-ons, and the form routing are all configurable from labelled fields. The booking-form recipient is editable too, so requests reach the right inbox or WhatsApp.
Your site is delivered in 7–14 days with on-page SEO, SSL, GA4 and a PDPA-aware setup. If you ever get stuck, the step-by-step handover manual walks through every task, and your 3 included revision rounds (plus an optional Care plan from S$150/mo) mean help is on hand. But the day-to-day is genuinely designed for non-technical studio staff to manage solo.
- Update opening hours — change them once and they update across the site, including a holiday notice.
- Add or edit a tan artist — name, role, photo and bio, live in minutes.
- Add or edit a service — set the name, category, price and content, and it appears in the menu automatically.
- Edit the Tan Shade Finder — adjust the tones, depths, services, price logic and add-ons.
- Manage reviews — add or feature client reviews and the headline rating.
- Manage bookings — set the form recipient, studio / service routing and the PDPA consent wording.
- Check your GA4 numbers — see visitors, top services, finder usage and bookings in Google Analytics.

Tanning studio website — frequently asked questions
Quick answers on cost, what’s included, timelines, ownership, platforms, the Tan Shade Finder, appointment booking, SEO/AEO, PDPA and revisions for a done-for-you tanning-studio website in Singapore.
How much does a tanning studio website cost in Singapore?
A done-for-you tanning-studio website in Singapore costs between S$900 and S$2,600 with SGBP. The S$900 base covers a complete, mobile-ready studio site with the Tan Shade Finder and appointment booking built in; the price rises only as you add a platform like WordPress, more pages, an appointment calendar, a client portal or branding. You see the exact figure live in the customiser before you pay.
What exactly do I get for the price?
You get a fully designed and developed site built from the live Goldhour demo, your services, tan artists and studios set up, the Tan Shade Finder, an appointment-booking + enquiry flow, a self-editable CMS, full source-code ownership, on-page SEO, SSL, analytics, PDPA-aware forms, 3 revision rounds and a step-by-step handover manual. Everything you select in the customiser is itemised in your order summary.
How long does it take to build and launch?
Most tanning-studio sites are designed, built and launched in 7 to 14 days from payment. Larger 20+ page sites, area landing pages, an appointment calendar, a client portal or CRM integration can sit at the upper end of that range. We send a private preview link first, you use your revisions, then we launch on your domain.
Do I own the website and can I edit it myself?
Yes. You own 100% of the code and your content outright — there is no licence trap and no agency lock-in. Every build is delivered with a self-editable CMS so you can update hours, add tan artists, change services and refresh content yourself, with a plain-English manual to guide you.
What is the Tan Shade Finder and how does it help?
It is the signature interactive tool, built around what tanning clients hesitate over: which tan they need, and how many sessions and dollars it will take. A client picks their current skin tone, the depth they want and the occasion, and the tool recommends the right service, a sensible number of sessions and an indicative price, then sends it pre-filled to WhatsApp to book. It educates and sets expectations, and it is fully editable in the CMS. It is a guide, not a fixed quote; the tan artist confirms everything in person.
Is this a shop — does it have a cart or checkout?
No, and deliberately so. A tanning studio runs on appointments, not e-commerce, so the site has appointment booking and a WhatsApp-first enquiry flow instead of a cart. The job of the site is to turn searches into booked tans via the Tan Shade Finder, service menu, tan artists, studio locator and booking form. There is no checkout.
Will the design actually reassure first-timers, or is it a recoloured template?
A sunless tan is bought on trust that you won’t make someone orange, so the design is a warm bronze-and-gold system with golden-glow imagery, named tan artists, clear before/after-care, honest reviews and an easy booking flow. We customise the brand, colours, type, imagery and copy to your studio, so it reads as your studio rather than a generic theme — exactly what reassures a nervous first-timer.
Which platform should I choose — Astro, WordPress or Webflow?
The native Astro build shown in the demo is the fastest and cheapest to run and the best for SEO. Choose WordPress if your team already knows it and wants full control, or Webflow for a visual in-browser editor. The customiser shows the exact price difference for each option.
Can clients book and reach me on WhatsApp?
Yes. Every build includes an appointment-booking form and WhatsApp-first CTAs throughout, plus the Tan Shade Finder which sends a pre-filled enquiry to WhatsApp. Add the online appointment calendar for true self-service booking, and CRM integration so bookings flow into your workflow.
Will the site rank on Google and show up in AI search?
Yes. Every build is delivered with an SEO foundation — clean markup, fast Core Web Vitals, sitemaps and LocalBusiness, Service, FAQ and Review structured data, well suited to local tanning searches. The Advanced SEO / AEO pack adds a full schema graph, answer-engine optimisation, service / area landing pages and Search Console setup so you can be found on Google and quoted by AI assistants. Rankings are never guaranteed.
How is client data handled under PDPA?
We handle information in line with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), and your site is delivered with SSL/HTTPS by default. Booking and enquiry details are stored securely, consented and never sold, and the forms capture only what is needed to respond. If you add a client portal, access is secured and role-based.
What are revisions and how many are included?
A revision is a round of changes you request after seeing your preview — copy tweaks, layout changes, colour adjustments, content edits, finder price changes and the like. Three rounds are included free. If you want more breathing room you can add extra rounds at S$200 each in the customiser.
Do I need hosting and maintenance?
No — you can host the site yourself since the code is yours. If you would rather not, add Managed or Pro Hosting and a Care plan in the customiser (billed monthly or annually). Care covers updates, backups, security and small content changes — like updated hours or a new seasonal service — so you can focus on tanning clients.
