Trip route
Day-by-day itinerary
Singapore — Sapporo
Gather at Changi for your flight north. On arrival in Sapporo your tour leader settles the group into the hotel, with a short orientation walk past the Odori clock tower for anyone still wide awake.
Meals on board
Sapporo — Otaru — Sapporo
A morning along the Otaru canal, watching glassblowers and music-box makers at work, then a tasting of the town’s famous seafood. We loop back to Sapporo for a free evening around Susukino.
Breakfast · Lunch
Furano & Biei flower country
The day belongs to the rolling farms of Furano and the patchwork hills of Biei — lavender and poppies in summer, a quiet white blanket in winter. Plenty of time for the photographs you came for.
Breakfast · Dinner
Noboribetsu onsen
We walk the steaming boardwalks of Jigokudani before checking into an onsen ryokan. Dinner is a multi-course kaiseki, and the evening is yours to soak away the travelling.
Breakfast · Dinner
Lake Toya — Hakodate
A caldera-lake morning at Toya, then south to the port town of Hakodate. We ride up Mount Hakodate at dusk for one of the most-loved night views in Japan.
Breakfast · Lunch
Hakodate morning market
Breakfast is at the bustling morning market — pick your own bowl of uni or crab. The rest of the day is free for the bayside warehouses and the old foreigners’ quarter.
Breakfast
Sapporo — fly home
A last morning for souvenirs around Sapporo Station before we transfer to the airport for the flight back to Singapore.
Breakfast
Arrive Singapore
Touch down at Changi with a camera roll full of north Japan and, we hope, a plan to come back in the other season.
