SGBP is committed to digital accessibility. We design and build our own site to WCAG 2.2 Level AA, the same standard we apply to client work.
1. Conformance
Target: WCAG 2.2 Level AA, with selective AAA components (forms, focus management, motion).
Current status: Partial conformance during the v2 rebuild. We are auditing each section as it delivers. Last automated scan via axe-core: 2026-05-16.
2. What's accessible today
- Keyboard navigation across all interactive elements.
- Skip-to-content link.
- WCAG-AA-safe colour contrast for body text and primary actions.
- Visible focus states on every interactive control.
- Reduced-motion media query respected for animations.
- Semantic HTML landmarks (
<header>,<main>,<nav>,<footer>). - Alt text on all non-decorative images.
3. Known gaps
- Some long-form content sections use placeholder copy during the v2 rebuild; heading hierarchy may be revised before final launch.
- Embedded Calendly widget (on /book-a-call) inherits Calendly's accessibility. We provide a WhatsApp fallback for any user who hits a blocker.
- Case study videos (when published) will come with closed captions and transcripts.
4. Testing methods
- Automated: axe-core (CI), Lighthouse, Pa11y.
- Manual: keyboard-only, VoiceOver (macOS, iOS), NVDA (Windows), TalkBack (Android), high-contrast mode.
- Cadence: every release. Full audit refresh at least once per quarter.
5. Report an issue
If you hit an accessibility barrier on sgbp.tech, please tell us. We treat these reports as a P0 fix.
- WhatsApp: /wa
- Email:
connect@sgbp.tech
We acknowledge within one business day and target a fix within five.
6. Standards we reference
- WCAG 2.2 (W3C)
- US Section 508 (where applicable)
- GovTech Singapore digital service standards (for government clients)
7. Formal complaint
If we cannot resolve an accessibility issue to your satisfaction, you may escalate to the Singapore Personal Data Protection Commission (for data-related accessibility complaints) or the relevant body in your jurisdiction.
