Sun protection matters a lot here, where the UV index is high almost every day. This is a mineral (physical) sunscreen, which sits on top of the skin and reflects UV rather than being absorbed — generally the kinder choice for babies and reactive skin.

It uses non-nano zinc oxide, blends in without a heavy white cast, and skips fragrance and chemical filters. Suitable from six months; for younger babies, shade and clothing are still the safest cover.

Apply generously before going out and top up every couple of hours, or after swimming and towelling off.
