What you will learn

Nails are one of the friendliest ways into beauty: lower kit cost, fast bookings, and clients who come back every three weeks. This eight-week certificate takes you from nail anatomy and hygiene through structured gel manicures, soak-off, spa pedicures and the nail art that fills both an Instagram feed and a calendar.

You practise on real hands from week one, building speed and a clean, safe routine that protects you and the natural nail. We are strict about sanitation and product safety, because that is exactly what a salon owner checks before they hire you and what separates a professional from a kitchen-table hobbyist.

By the end you can run a full appointment confidently, price your work, and either walk into a salon interview or set up a tidy, licensed home studio. We cover the unglamorous parts too: sensible stocking, soak-off without damage, and handling the occasional lifting or allergy issue honestly.

Entry & graduation requirements

Open to beginners aged 16 and above; no prior experience required.

Pass the SBTB practical assessment and complete the logged practice hours.

This qualification demonstrates completed, supervised, examined training to a professional standard. It is not a regulatory or medical licence; where a procedure requires a doctor or a regulated practitioner, we say so and point you to the correct further pathway.
