The four-week countdown
Book your survey & date
Get a free survey and lock in your moving date early — month-ends and key-collection dates fill first. Declutter as you go; less to move is less to pay.
Sort, label & notify
Start packing non-essentials, label boxes by room, and notify utilities, banks and subscriptions of your change of address. Book lift access with both buildings.
Pack the essentials box
Set aside a box of first-night essentials — chargers, toiletries, a change of clothes, basic tools. Defrost the fridge and run down perishables.
Be present & point
Walk the crew through fragile items and where things go at the new place. Keep valuables and documents with you. Do a final empty-cupboard sweep before you leave.
Pack like the professionals
Right-size your boxes
Heavy items (books) in small boxes, light items (linens) in big ones. Don’t overpack — a box you can’t lift is a box that breaks.
Protect the fragile
Wrap glassware and electronics individually, fill gaps so nothing shifts, and mark fragile boxes clearly. Or let us do the packing.
Measure the big stuff
Check that large furniture fits through doorways, lifts and stairwells at both ends before the day — not when it’s halfway out the door.
Keep an inventory
A simple list of boxes and contents makes unpacking faster and helps you confirm nothing went missing in transit.
Rather we just handled it?
Let our crew pack, wrap and move it all — surveyed first, fixed price, transit-insured.
