Petal & Polish started from one small frustration: nail visits that felt rushed, rough on the cuticles, and over before they began.
Mei-Lin opened the first studio in Bugis in 2017, after years painting nails for editorial shoots and weddings. She wanted somewhere that treated a manicure as both proper craft and a genuine half-hour off — gentle, hygienic, and never in a hurry.
Word spread on careful work rather than loud marketing, and two more studios followed: a quiet neighbourhood room in Tiong Bahru, and a longer-hours space in Tampines for the East side. The care is identical at all three; only the postcode changes.
These days a small team of artists and technicians looks after regulars right across the island — plenty of whom started with a quick classic mani and now drop in every month. We have deliberately kept each studio compact, because that calm, unrushed feeling is exactly what we set out to protect.

Nadia is our go-to for nails that need rescuing — weak, peeling or over-worked. She is endlessly patient and brilliant at building strength back into a natural nail.

Jolene runs the Pedi Lounge at Tiong Bahru and is the calmest pair of hands you will meet. She specialises in waterless pedicures and feet that need a gentle touch.

Divya looks after the Art Corner at Tampines and never met a finish she could not pull off. Chrome, cat-eye, seasonal sets — she loves the playful end of the menu.
