Taking gel off well matters just as much as putting it on. We soak rather than pick or aggressively file, lift it away gently, then buff and oil the natural nail so it is left smooth and healthy.
Book it on its own if you are giving your nails a break, or add it before a new set if you are arriving in old gel from elsewhere.
It is the small step that protects everything underneath — and the reason our regulars rarely deal with thin, damaged nails.
