What does a Kemala House site actually do for my Singapore boutique hotel?
It turns your property into a direct-booking and trust engine in about a week from S$900. You get a warm, cinematic site you can try yourself in the live demo, a booking-request flow, the signature Stay Rate Calculator that shows an indicative total before a guest commits, editorial room blocks, a dining & experiences section and a rates page — all built to win direct bookings instead of paying a third of every night to an OTA, and yours to own outright with running costs from S$15/mo.
Guests pick a boutique hotel on a feeling: that the rooms are as lovely as the photos, that the place has a soul, and that booking direct is easy and safe. Yet most independent properties run a tired site that buries the rooms, never shows an honest rate, and pushes everyone to an OTA that skims 15–20% off every booking. Kemala House flips that: a warm-heritage site with a full-bleed cinematic hero, editorial room blocks, a real rate calculator and a one-message booking request — so a traveller goes from “is this place right, and what will it cost?” to a direct booking request in a couple of taps.
The signature Stay Rate Calculator is the standout, and it answers the question that makes guests hesitate and bounce to a comparison site: what will my stay actually cost? A guest picks their room, their nights and guests, and whether to add the courtyard breakfast, and the tool shows an indicative total in SGD with a line-by-line breakdown, then sends the enquiry to WhatsApp with the selection pre-filled. It sets expectations, builds trust, and lands the booking direct and warm.
And it’s an asset you own, not a rental. You keep 100% of the code and a self-editable CMS, so you update rooms, rates, photos, experiences and the calculator’s figures yourself without paying a developer per change. After launch you only pay what you choose — managed hosting from S$15/mo and optional care from S$150/mo. Start at S$900, then add a real availability engine, neighbourhood landing pages, a guest portal or CRM integration as you grow, up to around S$2,600.
- Launch in 7–14 days from S$900 — a real direct-booking engine, not a tired brochure site.
- A warm, cinematic design and editorial rooms that build trust before the first night.
- The Stay Rate Calculator shows an indicative total AND a breakdown — and books guests direct.
- Win direct bookings instead of paying 15–20% of every night to an OTA.
- You own 100% of the code plus a self-editable CMS — update rooms and rates yourself, no agency lock-in.
- Predictable running costs: managed hosting from S$15/mo and optional care from S$150/mo, not an open-ended retainer.

What problems does a done-for-you Kemala House site fix that DIY and freelancers don’t?
It removes what frustrates most independent hoteliers: a dated, slow site, OTA dependence, no easy way to book direct, no rate visibility, a generic look that undersells a beautiful property, sites you can’t edit, agency lock-in, missing local SEO and surprise costs. You get a complete, trust-first boutique-hotel website — with the Stay Rate Calculator, a booking-request flow, editorial room blocks and a dining section — that you own outright, live in 7–14 days from S$900.
Most independent hotels and guesthouses trying to fix their web presence hit the same wall. A dated site is slow on mobile, hides the rooms, shows no rates, and looks like a generic listing rather than the characterful property being sold — so guests bounce to an OTA, where 15–20% of every booking disappears. A cheap template undersells the very atmosphere a boutique hotel trades on. A freelancer can vanish mid-build or hand over something you can’t touch. A full agency may quote tens of thousands and tie you to their platform. Kemala House is designed to remove each of those frustrations.
Speed and direct bookings: instead of months of theme-wrangling, your site is customised from a proven, cinematic boutique-hotel demo and typically delivered in 7–14 days — with a full-bleed room hero, the Stay Rate Calculator, editorial room blocks, a dining & experiences section and a booking-request flow that actually turn searches into direct booking requests rather than OTA clicks.
A look that does the rooms justice: a boutique hotel is bought on atmosphere, so the design is a warm-heritage espresso-and-bronze system with serif headlines, a cinematic hero and editorial room blocks that let each room breathe. It reads as a characterful, independent property rather than a recoloured template — exactly what reassures a guest choosing you over a chain.
Ownership and cost: you own 100% of the code and edit everything — rooms, rates, experiences, calculator figures — through a self-editable CMS, so you’re never tied to a retainer. On-page SEO, GA4 and clean markup are delivered as standard. Pricing is a transparent customiser from S$900 to S$2,600 with 3 revision rounds included — no vague “it depends” invoices.
- Dated, generic site → A fast, mobile-first, warm-heritage hotel site that does the rooms justice.
- OTA dependence → A direct booking-request flow and rate visibility that win the booking on your own site.
- No rate visibility → A Stay Rate Calculator shows an indicative total before a guest commits.
- Look undersells the property → A cinematic, editorial design that matches the atmosphere you sell.
- Can’t edit it yourself → A self-editable CMS lets you update rooms, rates and photos without a developer.
- Locked into an agency → You own 100% of the code; hosting (from S$15/mo) and care (from S$150/mo) are optional.
- Surprise costs → A transparent customiser shows your price from S$900 to S$2,600 up front, 3 revisions included.

SGBP vs a Singapore agency, freelancer or DIY — which is right for your hotel site?
For a Singapore boutique hotel, SGBP customises the live Kemala House site — Stay Rate Calculator, booking-request flow, editorial rooms and all — in 7–14 days from S$900 to S$2,600, and you own 100% of the code with no lock-in. Singapore agencies typically quote far more over several weeks; freelancers vary widely; a DIY builder is cheapest but rarely converts or does a beautiful property justice.
Most Singapore agencies do solid work, but a custom hotel site is often a five-figure scope spread over weeks — and many keep you on their platform. You can end up paying for process you don’t need when there’s already a proven, cinematic boutique-hotel design ready to customise.
A freelancer can be cheaper and faster, but quality, code ownership and follow-up swing widely — and hospitality-specific touches like the Stay Rate Calculator, a booking-request flow, editorial room blocks and a dining section are rarely built in well. A DIY website builder is the lowest cash outlay, but it rarely converts, seldom does a characterful property justice, and leaves you wrestling templates instead of running the house.
SGBP sits in between on purpose: you start from the live Kemala House demo, so you can see and click exactly what you’re buying, then we customise it to your rooms and story. Every build is delivered with on-page SEO (with an SEO/AEO upgrade option), SSL, GA4, PDPA-aware forms, a self-editable CMS and a handover manual — the things that often become paid “add-ons” elsewhere.
- Time and cost: 7–14 days, from S$900 to S$2,600 one-time, versus the weeks and far higher fees a custom agency build typically involves.
- Ownership: you keep 100% of the code and your content — no platform lock-in.
- See before you buy: the live Kemala House demo is the actual product, Stay Rate Calculator and booking-request flow and all.
- Built to convert: the calculator, booking flow, editorial rooms and dining section are part of the build, not quoted extra.
- Singapore-ready: PDPA-aware data handling, Telok Ayer / Chinatown / CBD framing, local tone and SGD pricing throughout.
- Optional, not obligatory: managed hosting from S$15/mo and a Care plan from S$150/mo if you want it hands-off.

What is under the hood of your Kemala House hotel site?
Under the hood is static-first Astro, exactly what this demo runs on, or a hardened WordPress or Webflow build, served over a global CDN with modern compression and caching. It is fast, WCAG 2.2 AA accessible, SSL-secured and PDPA-aware, and yours to deploy anywhere.
The native build, exactly what this demo runs on, is static-first Astro with a headless CMS and minimal JavaScript. Prefer a familiar CMS? We build a hardened WordPress (+S$250) or Webflow (+S$200) site instead. Whichever you choose, it’s served over a global CDN with modern compression and caching, so it stays fast during a campaign spike or a peak booking season.
We tune for Core Web Vitals: the cinematic hero, the editorial room photos and the gallery are lazy-loaded in modern formats (WebP/AVIF) with set dimensions to avoid layout shift, so the site and the interactive Stay Rate Calculator stay snappy on every device — including the phones most guests book from. We build to WCAG 2.2 AA so the site is usable for everyone.
SSL/HTTPS and security headers are enforced, the booking and enquiry forms are spam-protected, and data handling is PDPA-aware — important when you hold guests’ names, dates and contact details. Add CRM or a booking engine and requests can pipe into your workflow. You own 100% of the source code, with no lock-in, so you can host with us from S$15/mo or deploy anywhere yourself.
- Static-first Astro, or a hardened WordPress or Webflow build
- Core Web Vitals tuned; WCAG 2.2 AA accessible, semantic HTML
- Interactive Stay Rate Calculator runs efficiently client-side
- SSL/HTTPS and security headers; PDPA-aware handling of guest data
- Spam-protected booking & enquiry forms with optional CRM / booking-engine integration
- Clean SEO markup, XML sitemaps and GA4 included as standard
- 100% source-code ownership, no lock-in, deploy anywhere

Will my Kemala House site rank on Google and get quoted by ChatGPT?
Every build is delivered search-ready: clean semantic HTML, a JSON-LD schema graph (LocalBusiness / Hotel, FAQ, Review, Breadcrumb), fast Core Web Vitals, XML sitemaps and Search Console. Answer-first content and Singapore signals — Telok Ayer, Chinatown, the CBD, conservation shophouses, PDPA, natural local language — give Google, AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity and voice assistants what they need to find and quote you. No rankings are guaranteed.
Plenty of hotel sites are built to look fine and little else — slow pages, messy markup, no structured data — so neither Google nor AI engines can tell what kind of property you are or where you sit. We build the opposite. Your Kemala House site is delivered with clean semantic HTML5, correct heading order, descriptive alt text, canonical tags and a tidy URL structure. Rankings always depend on your competition, but the technical groundwork is done right from day one.
Here’s the jargon in plain terms. SEO helps you rank on Google for searches like “boutique hotel Telok Ayer” or “heritage shophouse hotel Singapore”. AEO and AIO help your content get surfaced and quoted by ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews when someone asks for a characterful place to stay in the old town. GEO makes sure those answers know you’re in Singapore and which neighbourhood. Voice covers Siri, Google Assistant and Alexa.
The engine is a JSON-LD schema graph baked into every page: LocalBusiness and Hotel markup so your property and rooms are machine-readable; FAQPage so your common answers can be lifted into AI replies; Review markup for trust; BreadcrumbList for structure. The advanced SEO/AEO pack adds speakable markup, Bing and Search Console setup, neighbourhood / area landing pages and an answer-engine optimisation pass — an optional upgrade on the S$900 base build.
- Clean semantic markup: HTML5 structure, logical headings, descriptive alt text and canonical tags.
- Full JSON-LD schema graph: LocalBusiness, Hotel, FAQPage, Review and BreadcrumbList.
- Neighbourhood & area pages target high-intent local long-tail: “boutique hotel Telok Ayer”, “heritage hotel Chinatown Singapore”.
- Fast Core Web Vitals: image-optimised, mobile-first pages — a Google ranking factor that also keeps guests from bouncing.
- Answer-first content: room copy and FAQs written question-led and concise, so AI engines can quote them cleanly.
- Sitemaps & Search Console: XML and image sitemaps plus robots.txt submitted to Google (and Bing).
- Singapore signals: Telok Ayer, Chinatown, the CBD, conservation shophouses, PDPA-aware handling and natural local language.
- You own 100% of the code with a self-editable CMS — update a room and its SEO fields and schema update automatically.

What does each page of my Kemala House hotel site actually look like?
You get a full property site, not a single page: a cinematic homepage with a full-bleed room hero, editorial room blocks, a detail page per room type, a dining & experiences section, a dedicated Stay Rate Calculator, a rates & offers page, an about page, reviews and a booking / contact page — rebuilt with your rooms, rates and story.
We start from the live Kemala House demo and rebuild every page around your property, brand and rooms. Nothing stays as filler: your rooms, room photos, rates, story and reviews replace the demo content, and each page keeps the features that make the demo convert — the cinematic hero, the editorial room blocks, the Stay Rate Calculator, the dining & experiences section and the booking flow — wired to you.
Every page is delivered mobile-first with clean SEO markup, PDPA-aware forms and a self-editable CMS, so you can update rates, add a room or edit an experience long after handover. The pages below are what’s included in the base S$900 build; site scope, a real availability engine, advanced SEO, a guest portal and CRM integration are where the customiser adds cost, up to S$2,600.
Singapore signals are built in where they help: Telok Ayer, Chinatown and CBD framing, a calm editorial tone and honest indicative-rate copy throughout. You own 100% of the code, and it’s typically delivered in 7–14 days.
- Homepage — a full-bleed cinematic room hero with a serif headline, a brand-story split, house marks, editorial room blocks, a dining section, the Stay Rate Calculator, booking steps, trust pillars, guest words and a neighbourhood band — all rebranded to you.
- Rooms & Suites — every room as a large editorial photo block with its rate, each linking to a detail page.
- Room detail — a cinematic dark banner and a sticky rate-and-amenities sidebar with the room story, gallery and inclusions.
- Dine & Do — your breakfast, experiences and services as warm photo cards grouped by category, each with a detail page.
- Stay Rate Calculator — a dedicated page hosting the signature tool and a how-the-rate-works explainer.
- Rates & Offers — a clean nightly-rate table and your rate-plan offer cards.
- The House / about — your restoration story, a stats band and the team with photos and roles.
- Guest Words — guest reviews in serif quote cards with a trust-stat strip.
- Reserve / contact — a booking-request form (no cart): room, dates, guests, arrival window and a PDPA-aware consent, plus WhatsApp and the front desk.

Can the Kemala House site scale from a small guesthouse to a multi-property group as I grow?
Yes. Your site starts lean at five pages and scales to a 20+ page property with a full room library, neighbourhood landing pages, more experiences, a real availability engine, a guest portal, CRM integration and even a second language. Add the Stay Rate Calculator from day one. Because you own 100% of the code, there is no platform lock-in holding you back.
Most independent properties launch with a focused presence and broaden as they grow. Kemala House is built for that curve. Day one you might run a tight five-page site with a home, rooms, the calculator and booking. As you grow, the customiser lets you step up to 10 or 20+ pages, adding a detail page per room type, neighbourhood landing pages and a journal — so growing the site is a content exercise rather than a rebuild.
Adding rooms and experiences is built in: the room and experience sections scale through the CMS, so a new room type or a new offering slots in cleanly, each strengthening your local SEO. The native Astro build is delivered as a fast, static, mobile-first site served over a global CDN, so it stays fast as the site grows. When you’re ready, switch on a real availability engine, a guest portal and CRM integration.
Running more than one property? The structure extends to a small group, and a multilingual content layer can be added across key pages, with your Singapore positioning staying native. The real future-proofing is ownership: you hold 100% of the code and your content, delivered with a handover manual in 7–14 days, so the same codebase extends instead of forcing a restart.
- Site scope scales from 5 to 20+ pages; add rooms, neighbourhood pages and a journal as content rather than a rebuild
- The room and experience sections scale through the CMS — new rooms and offerings slot in and strengthen local SEO
- The native Astro build is static and CDN-served, so it stays fast as you grow; WordPress / Webflow builds are hardened and CDN-served too
- Automate as you grow: a real availability engine, a guest portal and CRM integration
- Add channels: WhatsApp booking, live chat and a secure guest area
- A multilingual content layer is available for more guests, with your Singapore positioning native
- You own 100% of the code and your content, so there is no forced re-platform as you scale

Can I run my Kemala House site myself without a developer?
Yes. Your site is delivered with a self-editable CMS, so you add and edit rooms, rates, experiences, the Stay Rate Calculator’s figures, pages and reviews, and check your GA4 numbers without touching code. Every task is documented in a plain-English handover manual, and you own 100% of the build.
Running a hotel site is mostly small, repeatable updates: a rate change, a new room photo, a seasonal offer, a peak-period note, a fresh review. We build all of this into a clean CMS dashboard, so you log in, change the thing you came to change and hit publish. No staging files, no FTP, no “please email the developer”.
Each module from the live demo has a matching settings panel. Your rooms and their nightly rates, your experiences, the Stay Rate Calculator’s breakfast price and peak surcharge, your offers, and the form routing are all configurable from labelled fields. The booking-form recipient is editable too, so requests reach the right inbox or WhatsApp.
Your site is delivered in 7–14 days with on-page SEO, SSL, GA4 and a PDPA-aware setup. If you ever get stuck, the step-by-step handover manual walks through every task, and your 3 included revision rounds (plus an optional Care plan from S$150/mo) mean help is on hand. But the day-to-day is genuinely designed for a non-technical operator to manage solo.
- Update a rate — change a nightly rate once and the room page, the rates table and the calculator update together.
- Add or edit a room — photo, rate, bed, size and story, live in minutes.
- Add or edit an experience — set the name, category and content, and it appears in Dine & Do automatically.
- Edit the Stay Rate Calculator — adjust the room rates, the breakfast price and the peak surcharge.
- Manage reviews — add or feature guest words and the headline rating.
- Manage bookings — set the form recipient, room / date routing and the PDPA consent wording.
- Check your GA4 numbers — see visitors, top rooms, calculator usage and booking requests in Google Analytics.

Boutique-hotel website — frequently asked questions
Quick answers on cost, what’s included, timelines, ownership, platforms, the Stay Rate Calculator, the booking-request flow, OTAs, SEO/AEO, PDPA and revisions for a done-for-you boutique-hotel website in Singapore.
How much does a boutique-hotel website cost in Singapore?
A done-for-you boutique-hotel website in Singapore costs between S$900 and S$2,600 with SGBP. The S$900 base covers a complete, mobile-ready property site with the Stay Rate Calculator and booking-request flow built in; the price rises only as you add a platform like WordPress, more pages, a real availability engine, a guest portal or branding. You see the exact figure live in the customiser before you pay.
What exactly do I get for the price?
You get a fully designed and developed site built from the live Kemala House demo, your rooms, rates and experiences set up, the Stay Rate Calculator, a booking-request + enquiry flow, a self-editable CMS, full source-code ownership, on-page SEO, SSL, analytics, PDPA-aware forms, 3 revision rounds and a step-by-step handover manual. Everything you select in the customiser is itemised in your order summary.
How long does it take to build and launch?
Most boutique-hotel sites are designed, built and launched in 7 to 14 days from payment. Larger 20+ page sites, neighbourhood landing pages, a real availability engine, a guest portal or CRM integration can sit at the upper end of that range. We send a private preview link first, you use your revisions, then we launch on your domain.
Do I own the website and can I edit it myself?
Yes. You own 100% of the code and your content outright — there is no licence trap and no agency lock-in. Every build is delivered with a self-editable CMS so you can update rates, add rooms, change experiences and refresh content yourself, with a plain-English manual to guide you.
What is the Stay Rate Calculator and how does it help?
It is the signature interactive tool, built around the question guests hesitate over: what will my stay cost? A guest picks their room, their number of nights and guests, and whether to add the courtyard breakfast, and the tool shows an indicative total stay cost in SGD with a line-by-line breakdown, flagging a surcharge for peak dates, then sends the enquiry to WhatsApp with the selection pre-filled. It sets expectations and wins the booking direct, and it is fully editable in the CMS. It is a guide, not a confirmed quote; you confirm the final rate by reply.
Is this a shop — does it have a cart or checkout?
No, and deliberately so. A boutique hotel runs on bookings and enquiries, not e-commerce, so the site has a booking-request flow and a WhatsApp-first enquiry instead of a cart. The job of the site is to turn searches into direct booking requests via the Stay Rate Calculator, the editorial rooms, the experiences and the booking form. If you want true real-time availability and payment, we can integrate a booking engine as an add-on.
Will the design actually look premium, or is it a recoloured template?
A boutique hotel is bought on atmosphere, so the design is a warm-heritage espresso-and-bronze system with a full-bleed cinematic hero, editorial room blocks that let each room breathe, and refined serif headlines. We customise the brand, colours, type, imagery and copy to your property, so it reads as your hotel rather than a generic theme — exactly what does a characterful property justice.
Which platform should I choose — Astro, WordPress or Webflow?
The native Astro build shown in the demo is the fastest and cheapest to run and the best for SEO. Choose WordPress if your team already knows it and wants full control, or Webflow for a visual in-browser editor. The customiser shows the exact price difference for each option.
Will it help me win direct bookings instead of paying OTA commission?
That is the whole point. Every build includes a booking-request form and WhatsApp-first CTAs throughout, plus the Stay Rate Calculator which sends a pre-filled enquiry to WhatsApp — all designed to convert a searcher into a direct booking on your own site rather than an OTA click that costs you 15–20% commission. Add a real availability engine for true self-service booking, and CRM integration so requests flow into your workflow.
Will the site rank on Google and show up in AI search?
Yes. Every build is delivered with an SEO foundation — clean markup, fast Core Web Vitals, sitemaps and LocalBusiness, Hotel, FAQ and Review structured data, well suited to local accommodation searches. The Advanced SEO / AEO pack adds a full schema graph, answer-engine optimisation, neighbourhood / area landing pages and Search Console setup so you can be found on Google and quoted by AI assistants. Rankings are never guaranteed.
How is guest data handled under PDPA?
Data handling follows Singapore’s PDPA, and your site ships with SSL/HTTPS by default. Booking names, dates and contact details are stored securely, consented and never sold, and the forms capture only what is needed to confirm and look after a stay. If you add a guest portal, access is secured and role-based.
What are revisions and how many are included?
A revision is a round of changes you request after seeing your preview — copy tweaks, layout changes, colour adjustments, content edits, calculator rate changes and the like. Three rounds are included free. If you want more breathing room you can add extra rounds at S$200 each in the customiser.
Do I need hosting and maintenance?
No — you can host the site yourself since the code is yours. If you would rather not, add Managed or Pro Hosting and a Care plan in the customiser (billed monthly or annually). Care covers updates, backups, security and small content changes — like a new rate or a new room — so you can focus on your guests.
I run a small guesthouse with just a few rooms — is this overkill?
Not at all. The demo structures rooms, experiences and rates in a way that works just as well for a few rooms as for a fourteen-room house, and the base five-page build is sized exactly for a small property. You can launch lean, win direct bookings off your own site, and add pages, experiences and a booking engine later — all editable yourself in the CMS.
