The full atelier experience

Some brides arrive with a photo of a grandmother’s dress, a half-remembered sleeve, or simply a feeling nothing on a rail has quite matched. Bespoke is for them. We design your gown from a blank page — drawn, draped, cut and hand-finished for your body and your day alone — and at the end, it is yours to keep.

It is the slowest, most personal way we work, and the one we love most. Here is how a bespoke gown comes to life.

01

The conversation

We sit down over tea and you tell us everything — the venue, the season, the photo you saved, the sleeve you can’t stop thinking about, the part of yourself you want the gown to honour. No fabric is touched yet; this is where the gown is really designed.

02

Sketch & fabric

Clara draws two or three directions by hand and we choose one together, then drape the fabrics against your skin in daylight — the right ivory for your tone, the lace that moves the way you do. You approve the design before we cut a thread.

03

The toile fitting

We build a calico mock-up — the toile — and fit it on you, so you see the shape on your own body and we perfect the lines before the real fabric is cut. This is the fitting that turns a sketch into a gown that will actually fit.

04

Construction & hand-finishing

The gown is cut and built to your measurements, with the seams, hems and any beading or lace finished by hand. Two construction fittings make sure every line stays true as it comes together.

05

Yours to keep

Your finished gown is pressed, boxed and handed over — with a final steam before the day and a keepsake box for after. It exists only for you, and it is yours forever.

Before you begin

Worth knowing

Start 4–6 months ahead

Bespoke is unhurried by design. Four to six months gives room for the sketch, the toile and the hand-finishing without a single rushed fitting.

From $2,680

A made-to-measure gown begins at $2,680 and rises with fabric, lace and beadwork. We agree the figure at the design stage — never a surprise at the end.

One of one

No one else will ever wear your gown. It is drawn for your shape, your venue and your story, and built from the first sketch to be unrepeatable.

No commitment to begin

Tell us about the gown in your head

The first conversation is complimentary and obligation-free. Bring your photos, your fears and your maybe-ideas — we’ll tell you honestly what’s possible.
