For rental or ready-to-wear, two to four months before the wedding is comfortable — enough time for two or three fittings without rushing. If you want a made-to-measure gown, start four to six months ahead so we can sketch, cut a toile and hand-finish properly. That said, we keep a few rush fittings open each week, so if your day is sooner than that, message us anyway and we’ll give you a frank read on what’s possible.
Rental means you wear one of our in-house gowns for your day and return it after — the gentlest on the budget, with fittings and alterations included, from $880. Ready-to-wear means you buy a sample-line gown off the rack and keep it, tailored to your measurements, from $1,680. Bespoke (made-to-measure) means we design and hand-make a one-of-one gown for you from a sketch, yours to keep, from $2,680. Many brides mix them — a rental for the ceremony, a bespoke for the dinner.
On rentals and ready-to-wear, yes — your two to three fittings and the standard alterations (taking in, lengthening, a bustle for the train) are part of the quoted price, not billed visit by visit. Bespoke is made to your measurements from the start, so it includes a toile fitting and all construction fittings. The only time you would pay extra is for a major change of mind mid-build, and we always agree that with you first.
Yes — our Heirloom collection includes modern qipao in red and gold, cut close through the waist with hand-knotted pankou fronts, to rent or to keep. Lots of Singapore couples pair an Heirloom qipao for the morning tea customs with a white gown for the dinner, and we fit both at the same appointment so you are not running between two studios. We can also work to a family heirloom or a specific shade if you bring a reference.
Not at all; it is most brides. Your first appointment is exactly for that. Tell us a little about the day and how you want to feel — covered or bare, quiet or glamorous — and your stylist will pull three or four gowns to your shape and story, including one you would never have picked yourself. There is no pressure to decide on the spot, and if a gown genuinely isn’t flattering we say so kindly rather than just selling it.
Our rental gowns come in a working range of sizes, and because we design and sew in-house we can take a gown in, let it out, lengthen a hem or rework a neckline far more than a shop that buys wholesale. At your appointment we pin the closest sample to you so you can see the finished fit, then alter it to true before your day. If a silhouette you love only exists in one size, we’ll be straight with you about whether it can be made to work.
Appointments are private and by booking only — one bride in the fitting suite at a time, across our Tuesday-to-Sunday week from late morning until evening. The first browsing appointment is complimentary. We ask for a small deposit only once you reserve a specific gown or start a bespoke commission, and that deposit comes off your final balance. You can book through the form here or simply message us on WhatsApp and we will find you a slot.
Once you choose a gown or commission a bespoke piece, a deposit reserves your date and pieces, and the balance falls due before your final fitting. Payment can be made by PayNow, bank transfer or the major cards, and a larger bespoke commission can be spread across the design milestones. Every line is itemised on a clear invoice — gown, alterations, accessories — so you always know exactly what you are paying for.
Your contact details, measurements and the photos you share stay private to the atelier, kept the way Singapore’s PDPA expects. They go only towards planning your appointment, fittings and gown — there is no marketing, and nothing leaves the studio. Measurements stay on file purely so your alterations and any future pieces remain accurate.
Still wondering about something?
Message us — we’d rather answer a real question than have you guess. The first appointment is complimentary either way.
