After any accident, call us first. We talk you through making the scene safe, what to photograph, and whether to file a police report.
Send us the details
Photos of the damage and the other vehicle, the other driver’s particulars, and the time and place — by WhatsApp is fine. We open the claim from there.
We arrange the workshop
We book your car into an authorised workshop (or your own, on an any-workshop policy), arrange the survey and keep the repair moving.
We settle & update your NCD
We push the insurer to settle fairly, confirm what it means for your No-Claim Discount, and tell you straight if NCD Protector should kick in.
At the roadside
- Make the scene safe and check everyone is unhurt — call 995 if anyone is injured.
- Photograph the damage, the other vehicle’s number plate and the surroundings before anything moves.
- Exchange particulars calmly and call our 24h line for what to do next.
- Don’t admit fault or agree a private cash settlement at the roadside.
- Don’t drive off without exchanging details, even for a minor knock.
- Don’t arrange your own repair before the claim is opened and the damage surveyed.
What we’ll need
- Photos of the damage to both vehicles and the scene
- The other driver’s name, contact and vehicle number
- The date, time and location of the accident
- A police report reference, where one is required
- Your policy number and the driver’s details
