The right start for a new puppy — socialisation, house habits and the first cues, all during the window that matters most.
What this programme covers
- Toilet training and a calm crate or rest routine
- Bite-inhibition and gentle play with hands and family
- Name response, “look at me”, sit, and the start of recall
- Careful socialisation: lifts, void decks, traffic, other dogs and strangers
- Handling for grooming, the vet and HDB-approved manners
How it works
A puppy’s first few months shape the dog it becomes, and in Singapore that means learning to take lifts, void decks, delivery riders, cats and a dozen other dogs in its stride — all before the habits set. Puppy School uses gentle, reward-based methods to build confidence and good habits while that early window is still open.
We start with the boring-but-vital stuff — toilet training, settling alone, bite-inhibition, and a name your puppy actually turns to — then layer in calm socialisation at a pace your puppy can handle. Nothing is flooded or forced; a frightened puppy learns the wrong lesson, so we go at the speed that keeps tails up.
You can join a small group class for the social practice and value, or book in-home sessions if your puppy is very young, unvaccinated, or you would rather start one-on-one. Either way you leave each session with a simple plan for the week, so the learning continues between visits.
Who it’s for
Puppies under about six months old, newly home or just settling in.
