Primary Primary Composition & Writing
Our flagship — children learn to plan, structure and bring a composition to life, from first stories to PSLE continuous writing.
Preschool English Preparatory is where a child first discovers that reading and writing are fun rather than a test. Through picture-talk, phonics games and gentle story-building, we grow the foundations — sounds, sight words, full-sentence speech and the very first written stories — at a pace that suits a five- or six-year-old.
Our preschool teachers are trained early-years specialists who know that confidence is the real syllabus at this age. Classes are kept to six children so every little voice is heard, every drawing becomes a sentence, and no child is rushed. We move from speaking, to reading, to writing in that natural order.
By the time our preschoolers reach Primary 1, they walk in able to read simple texts, speak in full sentences and put a short story on the page — and, just as importantly, expecting English to be something they enjoy. Few head starts before formal school matter more, or last longer.
K1 and K2 children getting ready for Primary 1 English, or simply learning to love books.
The skills we build, term on term, with individual marking on every piece.
