Director’s statement

I make one idea land, not twelve blur together.

Every film I direct starts with a single question: what is the one thing this needs to make an audience feel? I would rather a short film do one thing completely than a long one do everything halfway.

That belief came from years of festival work, where you cannot hide behind budget — only behind a clear idea, well executed. I bring the same discipline to a sixty-second commercial as to a fourteen-minute drama. The polish is the same; only the runtime changes.

We talk through the one thing your film needs to make an audience feel. No treatment until we agree on that.

Treatment & plan

I write a director’s treatment — look, references, shot logic — and a realistic plan for days, crew and budget.

On set

I direct the shoot, protect the idea from drift, and capture every cutdown your rollout will need.

Edit to master

Edit, grade, sound and delivery. You see a first cut early and we refine within agreed rounds.
