Rootwell was founded by Dr Evelyn Sng after years of meeting patients who had already spent on treatments that were never going to help them — because nobody had properly diagnosed what kind of hair loss they had.
Hair loss is not one condition. It is genetic in one person, hormonal in another, stress-driven or medical in a third — and the right treatment for one is a waste of money for the next. So we built a clinic that refuses to start with a sales pitch. Every patient is seen by a doctor and scanned under the microscope before a single treatment is suggested.
We treat men and women, all ages, and we are equally happy to tell you that you do not need an expensive procedure as we are to plan one. A clear diagnosis, an honest pathway, and progress you can actually see on a scan — that is the whole idea.

Founded Rootwell after years of watching people spend on the wrong treatment for the wrong diagnosis. She still personally runs every first consultation and designs each transplant hairline herself.
Dr Marcus Teo
Leads the PRP, laser and medical programmes, with a particular interest in early intervention. Known for explaining the science in plain language and never overselling.
Sister Hannah Lim
Runs the trichoscopy scans, the scalp treatments and the progress reviews. Close to fifteen years in hair and scalp care, and the steady hand most patients remember.
