About this class
Before the slick choreography, there’s the groove — and Hip-Hop Foundations is where you build it. We teach the original party steps, bounces and rocks that street dance grew from, the movement that makes everything else look natural instead of stiff.
It’s the class we quietly recommend to nervous first-timers. There’s no long routine to memorise and no mirror-anxiety — just musicality, weight and feel, taught in a room that genuinely cheers each other on. We close most sessions with an easy freestyle circle, because the fastest way to lose self-consciousness is to move with no one judging.
Stick with it and you’ll notice it everywhere: your K-pop covers groove harder, your choreography sits in the music, and you stop counting and start dancing. Foundations first — it’s the shortcut that doesn’t feel like one.
