Aera is a single-physician aesthetic practice in Orchard and Novena, built on restraint, evidence and the time to do things properly.
Aera began with a quiet frustration. After years in practice, Dr Charmaine Yeo had grown tired of an aesthetics scene that too often chased the dramatic and the trend-led — the over-filled, the over-treated, the one-look-fits-everyone. She wanted to build the opposite: a calm, single-physician clinic where restraint was the whole point.
So in 2016 she opened Aera as a deliberately small practice. One doctor, seen by appointment, treating each patient herself from the first consultation to the final review. No rotating roster of injectors, no upselling, no pressure — just measured, evidence-led care and the time to do it properly.
That philosophy shapes everything. We offer a focused menu rather than everything under the sun, we treat conservatively and build only if needed, and we’ll happily talk you out of something you don’t need. The compliment our patients value most is being asked whether they’ve been on holiday — not what they’ve had done.

Medical Director & Aesthetic Physician
She holds an MBBS from the National University of Singapore, is fully registered with the Singapore Medical Council, and has completed advanced training in injectables, lasers and energy-based devices. She treats every patient herself, from the first consultation to the final review.
