What does a Groundwork site actually do for my calisthenics academy?
It turns your studio’s website into a trial-booking engine in about a week from S$900. You get a fast, trial-first site you can try yourself in the live demo, a booking / enquiry flow, the signature Skill Path Planner that hooks prospects by mapping their route to a skill, programmes by level with detail pages, a class timetable, coach profiles and membership cards — all built to turn searches into booked trials, and yours to own outright with running costs from S$15/mo.
Calisthenics academies live and die on trial bookings — yet plenty of studios run a single Instagram page or a one-page site with just a class list, so a prospect who finally wants to learn the muscle-up has nowhere to start. Groundwork flips that: it’s a fast, conversion-focused site with a serif-and-purple homepage, a visual skill-tree, programmes by level, a seven-day timetable, coach profiles and membership cards, so a motivated beginner can go from “I want my first pull-up” to a booked trial class in a couple of taps.
The signature Skill Path Planner is the hook nothing else in the vertical has. A prospect toggles what they can already do, picks the skill they want — a first pull-up, a muscle-up, a handstand, a planche or a front lever — and the planner builds them an ordered progression path, an honest timeline in weeks, and the exact programme that gets them there, then drops them into WhatsApp to book. It qualifies and excites the visitor in one move, and turns a vague “maybe I’ll try calisthenics” into a specific, motivated enquiry.
And it’s an asset you own, not a rental. You keep 100% of the code and a self-editable CMS, so you update programmes, the timetable, coach profiles, prices and the Planner yourself without paying a developer per change. After launch you only pay what you choose — managed hosting from S$15/mo and optional care from S$150/mo. Start at S$900, then add a class-booking calendar, a member area, CRM integration or skill landing pages as you grow, up to around S$2,600 for a fully loaded build.
- Launch in 7–14 days from S$900 — a real trial-booking engine, not a single Instagram page.
- The Skill Path Planner qualifies and excites prospects, then drops them into WhatsApp to book a trial.
- Trial-first booking / enquiry turns motivated searches into booked first classes.
- A serif hero, visual skill-tree, programmes-by-level, timetable and coach profiles built around how people choose a gym.
- You own 100% of the code plus a self-editable CMS — update programmes, the timetable and prices yourself, no agency lock-in.
- Predictable running costs: managed hosting from S$15/mo and optional care from S$150/mo, not an open-ended retainer.

What problems does a done-for-you Groundwork site fix that DIY and freelancers don’t?
It removes what frustrates most calisthenics studios: an Instagram-only presence with no booking, no way to qualify a prospect or show a path to a skill, no programme menu or pricing a visitor can browse, a generic gym look, sites you can’t edit, agency lock-in, missing local SEO and surprise costs. You get a complete, trial-first, conversion-built academy website — with the Skill Path Planner, booking flow, programmes by level, a timetable and coach profiles — that you own outright, live in 7–14 days from S$900.
Most calisthenics studios trying to fix their web presence hit the same wall. An Instagram page can’t be searched properly on Google, has no booking flow, and turns every enquiry into a DM chase. A cheap one-page site has no programme menu, no pricing and nothing that shows a beginner the path from where they are to the skill they want. A freelancer can vanish mid-build or hand over something you can’t touch. A full agency may quote thousands and tie you to their platform. Groundwork is designed to remove each of those frustrations.
Speed and conversion: instead of months of theme-wrangling, your site is customised from a proven, trial-first calisthenics demo and typically delivered in 7–14 days — with a serif hero, the Skill Path Planner, programmes by level, a per-skill library, a seven-day timetable, coach profiles and a booking flow that actually turn searches into booked trials.
A look that earns trust: the design is a clean, modern academy system with a vibrant purple accent, an elegant DM Serif display type and a signature skill-tree motif, so it reads as a real, organised academy rather than a recoloured gym template. The Planner and the skill library do the “can I actually do this, and how long will it take” work that an Instagram grid never can — on a site you actually own and can be found on.
Ownership and cost: you own 100% of the code and edit everything through a self-editable CMS, so you’re never tied to a retainer. On-page SEO, GA4 and clean markup are delivered as standard. Pricing is a transparent customiser from S$900 to S$2,600 with 3 revision rounds included — no vague “it depends” invoices.
- Instagram-only with no booking → A trial-first booking / enquiry flow with Book-a-trial CTAs on every page.
- Every enquiry is a manual DM chase → The Skill Path Planner qualifies and excites prospects before they reach you.
- Nothing to browse or compare → Programmes by level with detail pages, a per-skill library and a class timetable.
- Looks like every other gym → A distinct purple-and-serif academy design with a skill-tree motif, tailored to your brand.
- Can’t edit it yourself → A self-editable CMS lets you update programmes, the timetable and prices without a developer.
- Locked into an agency → You own 100% of the code; hosting (from S$15/mo) and care (from S$150/mo) are optional.
- Surprise costs → A transparent customiser shows your price from S$900 to S$2,600 up front, 3 revisions included.

SGBP vs a Singapore agency, freelancer or DIY — which is right for your academy site?
For a Singapore calisthenics academy, SGBP customises the live Groundwork site — Skill Path Planner, trial-first booking, programmes by level, a timetable and coach profiles — in 7–14 days from S$900 to S$2,600, and you own 100% of the code with no lock-in. Singapore agencies typically quote far more over several weeks; freelancers vary widely; a DIY builder is cheapest but rarely converts or shows a credible path to a skill.
Most Singapore agencies do solid work, but a custom booking-driven studio site is often a multi-thousand-dollar scope spread over weeks — and many keep you on their platform. You can end up paying for process you don’t need when there’s already a proven, trial-first calisthenics design ready to customise.
A freelancer can be cheaper and faster, but quality, code ownership and follow-up swing widely — and academy-specific touches like the Skill Path Planner, a trial-first booking flow, programmes by level and a class timetable are rarely built in. A DIY website builder is the lowest cash outlay, but it rarely converts, seldom shows a beginner a believable path to a skill, and leaves you wrestling templates instead of coaching.
SGBP sits in between on purpose: you start from the live Groundwork demo, so you can see and click exactly what you’re buying, then we customise it to your brand and programmes. Every build is delivered with on-page SEO (with an SEO/AEO upgrade option), SSL, GA4, PDPA-aware forms, a self-editable CMS and a handover manual — the things that often become paid “add-ons” elsewhere.
- Time and cost: 7–14 days, from S$900 to S$2,600 one-time, versus the weeks and far higher fees a custom agency build typically involves.
- Ownership: you keep 100% of the code and your content — no platform lock-in.
- See before you buy: the live Groundwork demo is the actual product, Skill Path Planner and booking flow and all.
- Built to convert: the Planner, trial booking, serif hero, skill-tree, timetable and coach profiles are part of the build, not quoted extra.
- Singapore-ready: PDPA-aware data handling, local tone and SGD pricing throughout.
- Optional, not obligatory: managed hosting from S$15/mo and a Care plan from S$150/mo if you want it hands-off.

What is under the hood of your Groundwork academy site?
Under the hood is static-first Astro, exactly what this demo runs on, or a hardened WordPress or Webflow build, served over a global CDN with modern compression and caching. It is fast, WCAG 2.2 AA accessible, SSL-secured and PDPA-aware — and yours to deploy anywhere.
The native build, exactly what this demo runs on, is static-first Astro with a headless CMS and minimal JavaScript. Prefer a familiar CMS? We build a hardened WordPress (+S$250) or Webflow (+S$200) site instead. Whichever you choose, it’s served over a global CDN with modern compression and caching, so it stays fast during a New-Year intake rush or an ad campaign spike.
We tune for Core Web Vitals: the hero image and programme photos are lazy-loaded in modern formats (WebP/AVIF) with set dimensions to avoid layout shift, so the hero, the programme cards and the interactive Skill Path Planner stay snappy on every device — including the phones most prospects browse from. The Planner’s logic runs efficiently client-side, so the progression path and timeline update instantly as the visitor toggles their abilities.
SSL/HTTPS and security headers are enforced, the trial-booking and enquiry forms are spam-protected, and data handling is PDPA-aware — important when prospects share their contact details and any injury history at sign-up. Add CRM integration and every trial booking pipes straight into your studio CRM or mailer. You own 100% of the source code, with no lock-in, so you can host with us from S$15/mo or deploy anywhere yourself.
- Static-first Astro, or a hardened WordPress or Webflow build
- Core Web Vitals tuned; WCAG 2.2 AA accessible, semantic HTML
- Interactive Skill Path Planner runs efficiently client-side for instant progression paths
- SSL/HTTPS and security headers; PDPA-aware handling of booking & enquiry data
- Spam-protected trial & enquiry forms with optional CRM / email integration
- Clean SEO markup, XML sitemaps and GA4 included as standard
- 100% source-code ownership, no lock-in, deploy anywhere

Will my Groundwork site rank on Google and get quoted by ChatGPT?
Every build is delivered search-ready: clean semantic HTML, a JSON-LD schema graph (LocalBusiness, Service, FAQ, Review, Breadcrumb), fast Core Web Vitals, XML sitemaps and Search Console. Answer-first content and Singapore signals — local towns, MRT references, PDPA, natural local language — give Google, AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity and voice assistants what they need to find and quote you. No rankings are guaranteed.
Plenty of studio sites are built to look fine and little else — messy markup, slow pages, no structured data — so neither Google nor AI engines can tell what you teach or where you train. We build the opposite. Your Groundwork site is delivered with clean semantic HTML5, correct heading order, descriptive alt text, canonical tags and a tidy URL structure. Rankings always depend on your area and competition, but the technical groundwork is done right from day one.
Here’s the jargon in plain terms. SEO helps you rank on Google for searches like “calisthenics class Paya Lebar” or “learn muscle-up Singapore”. AEO and AIO help your content get surfaced and quoted by ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews when someone asks “where can I learn calisthenics in Singapore as a beginner?”. GEO makes sure those answers know you serve Singapore specifically. Voice covers Siri, Google Assistant and Alexa.
The engine is a JSON-LD schema graph baked into every page: LocalBusiness and Service markup so your academy and programmes are machine-readable; FAQPage so your common answers can be lifted into AI replies; Review markup for trust; BreadcrumbList for structure. The skill library and Planner content is naturally answer-first — “how long to learn a handstand”, “first pull-up progression” — which is exactly what AI engines like to quote. The advanced SEO/AEO pack adds speakable markup, Bing and Search Console setup, optional skill / location pages and an answer-engine optimisation pass — an optional upgrade on the S$900 base build.
- Clean semantic markup: HTML5 structure, logical headings, descriptive alt text and canonical tags.
- Full JSON-LD schema graph: LocalBusiness, Service, FAQPage, Review and BreadcrumbList — eligible for rich results and readable by AI engines.
- Skill & programme pages target high-intent local long-tail: “learn handstand Singapore”, “calisthenics beginners class Paya Lebar” and AI-Overview-style questions.
- Fast Core Web Vitals: image-optimised, mobile-first pages — a Google ranking factor that also keeps prospects from bouncing.
- Answer-first content: skill progressions and FAQs written question-led and concise, so AI engines can quote them cleanly.
- Sitemaps & Search Console: XML and image sitemaps plus robots.txt submitted to Google (and Bing).
- Singapore signals: local towns, MRT references, PDPA-aware handling and natural local language throughout.
- You own 100% of the code with a self-editable CMS — update a programme and its SEO fields and schema update automatically.

What does each page of my Groundwork academy site actually look like?
You get a full academy site, not a single page: a serif-and-purple homepage with a skill-tree, a programmes listing, a detail page per programme, a per-skill library, a seven-day timetable, a coaches page, a pricing / memberships page, an about page, a book-a-trial / contact page, a reviews page, an FAQ and a dedicated page for the signature Skill Path Planner — rebuilt with your brand, programmes and tone.
We start from the live Groundwork demo and rebuild every page around your academy, brand and programmes. Nothing stays as filler: your programmes, skills, prices, copy, imagery, timetable, coaches and reviews replace the demo content, and each page keeps the features that make the demo convert — the serif hero, the skill-tree, the Skill Path Planner, the programme menu and the booking flow — wired to you.
Every page is delivered mobile-first with clean SEO markup, PDPA-aware forms and a self-editable CMS, so you can swap a hero image, add a programme or update the timetable long after handover. The pages below are what’s included in the base S$900 build; site scope, a class-booking calendar, advanced SEO, a member area and CRM integration are where the customiser adds cost, up to S$2,600.
Singapore signals are built in where they help: local studio and outdoor-bar locations, MRT references, a local tone, and honest copy throughout. You own 100% of the code, and it’s typically delivered in 7–14 days.
- Homepage — a serif-and-purple hero, a trust strip, the visual skill-tree, a how-we-coach row, programmes-by-level, the Skill Path Planner, coach profiles, member stories and membership cards — all rebranded to you.
- Programmes — every programme grouped by level and skill, each card with a blurb, the skills it chases, a from-price and a View CTA.
- Programme detail — a hero image, who it’s for, what you’ll train, the skills, add-ons and a sticky booking aside with what’s included.
- Skill library — the ordered milestone progression to each skill (pull-up, muscle-up, handstand, planche, lever) with the programme that coaches it.
- Skill Path Planner — a dedicated page hosting the signature tool plus a how-it-works explainer.
- Timetable — a seven-day class grid across your locations, with levels and a Book-a-trial CTA.
- Coaches — coach profiles with specialisms, plus the reasons to train at your academy.
- Pricing — trial, pass and membership cards plus a programme pricing table, no cart.
- About — your academy’s story, stats, what you stand for and the team.
- Book a trial / contact — a trial-booking form (no cart): programme, level, location, time and a PDPA-aware consent, plus a WhatsApp option and your locations.
- Reviews — a fuller wall of member stories with the headline rating.
- FAQ — an accordion of common questions, ready for FAQ schema.
- Footer & navigation — a clean multi-column footer with a newsletter, plus a sticky header with a Programmes dropdown and a purple Book-a-trial pill.

Can the Groundwork site scale from one coach to a multi-location, multi-programme academy as I grow?
Yes. Your site starts lean at five pages and scales to a 20+ page academy brand with a full programme library, skill and location pages, a class-booking calendar, a member area, CRM integration and even a second language. Add WhatsApp booking and enquiry capture from day one. Because you own 100% of the code, there is no platform lock-in holding you back.
Most calisthenics academies launch with a focused presence and broaden as they grow. Groundwork is built for that curve. Day one you might run a tight five-page site with a home, programmes, the Planner, pricing and booking. As you grow, the customiser lets you step up to 10 or 20+ pages, adding a detail page per programme, a page per skill, location pages for the areas you serve and a training-tips content engine — so growing the site is a content exercise rather than a rebuild.
Growth is also more channels and more automation. The native Astro build shown in the demo is delivered as a fast, static, mobile-first site served over a global CDN, so an intake rush or an ad spike is far less likely to slow it down. When you’re ready, switch on an online class-booking calendar so members self-book their classes, and add CRM integration so every trial flows into your follow-up and membership reminders.
Serving more languages or opening a second location? A multilingual content layer and extra location pages slot straight in, with your Singapore positioning staying native. The real future-proofing is ownership: you hold 100% of the code and your content, delivered with a handover manual in 7–14 days, so the same codebase extends instead of forcing a restart.
- Site scope scales from 5 to 20+ pages; add programmes, skill pages, location pages and a tips engine as content rather than a rebuild
- The programme menu, Skill Path Planner and timetable keep a larger site fast and easy to navigate on mobile
- The native Astro build is static and CDN-served, so it stays fast through intake rushes or campaign spikes; WordPress / Webflow builds are hardened and CDN-served too
- Automate as you grow: an online class-booking calendar plus CRM integration for membership reminders
- Add channels: WhatsApp capture, live chat and a member area for plan holders
- A multilingual content layer and extra location pages are available, with your Singapore positioning native
- You own 100% of the code and your content, so there is no forced re-platform as you scale

Can I run my Groundwork site myself without a developer?
Yes. Your site is delivered with a self-editable CMS, so you add and edit programmes, prices, the class timetable, coach profiles, the Skill Path Planner’s skills and pages, and check your GA4 numbers without touching code. Every task is documented in a plain-English handover manual, and you own 100% of the build. Most non-technical owners get the hang of it quickly.
Running a studio site is mostly small, repeatable updates: a new programme, a price change, a fresh photo, a coach joining the team, a tweak to the timetable when classes shift. We build all of this into a clean CMS dashboard, so you log in, change the thing you came to change and hit publish. No staging files, no FTP, no “please email the developer”.
Each module from the live demo has a matching settings panel. Your programmes and prices, the Skill Path Planner’s skills and milestones, your class timetable, your coach profiles, your locations and the booking-form routing are all configurable from labelled fields. The form recipient is editable too, so trial bookings reach the right inbox or WhatsApp.
Your site is delivered in 7–14 days with on-page SEO, SSL, GA4 and a PDPA-aware setup. If you ever get stuck, the step-by-step handover manual walks through every task, and your 3 included revision rounds (plus an optional Care plan from S$150/mo) mean help is on hand. But the day-to-day is genuinely designed for a non-technical owner to manage solo.
- Add or edit a programme — set the name, level, blurb, the skills it chases and a from-price, and it appears in the menu and dropdown automatically.
- Edit the Skill Path Planner — adjust the skills, milestones and recommended programmes so the paths stay true to how you coach.
- Update prices — change any from-price or membership rate in a click; the site updates together.
- Manage the timetable — edit class days, times, levels and locations from a simple grid.
- Edit a page or hero — update the homepage hero, about and contact copy without code.
- Manage bookings — set the form recipient, programme / level routing and the PDPA consent wording.
- Check your GA4 numbers — see visitors, top programmes, Planner usage and trial bookings in Google Analytics.

Calisthenics-academy website — frequently asked questions
Quick answers on cost, what’s included, timelines, ownership, platforms, the Skill Path Planner, trial booking, SEO/AEO, PDPA and revisions for a done-for-you calisthenics-academy website in Singapore.
How much does a calisthenics-academy website cost in Singapore?
A done-for-you calisthenics-academy website in Singapore costs between S$900 and S$2,600 with SGBP. The S$900 base covers a complete, mobile-ready academy site with the Skill Path Planner tool and a trial-first booking / enquiry flow built in; the price rises only as you add a platform like WordPress, more pages, a class-booking calendar, a member area or branding. You see the exact figure live in the customiser before you pay.
What exactly do I get for the price?
You get a fully designed and developed site built from the live Groundwork demo, your programmes and prices set up, the Skill Path Planner tool, a trial-first booking / enquiry flow, a class timetable, coach profiles, a self-editable CMS, full source-code ownership, on-page SEO, SSL, analytics, PDPA-aware forms, 3 revision rounds and a step-by-step handover manual. Everything you select in the customiser is itemised in your order summary.
How long does it take to build and launch?
Most academy sites are designed, built and launched in 7 to 14 days from payment. Larger 20+ page sites, skill and location pages, a class-booking calendar, a member area or CRM integration can sit at the upper end of that range. We send a private preview link first, you use your revisions, then we launch on your domain.
Do I own the website and can I edit it myself?
Yes. You own 100% of the code and your content outright — there is no licence trap and no agency lock-in. Every build is delivered with a self-editable CMS so you can add programmes, change prices, edit the timetable and refresh photos yourself, with a plain-English manual to guide you.
What is the Skill Path Planner and how does it help?
It is the signature interactive tool: a prospect toggles what they can already do, picks a goal skill — a first pull-up, a muscle-up, a handstand, a planche or a front lever — and the planner builds an ordered progression path, an honest timeline in weeks, and the recommended programme, then drops them into WhatsApp to book a trial. It qualifies and excites the visitor in one move, turning a vague interest into a specific, motivated enquiry. It is fully editable in the CMS, so your skills and programmes drive it.
Is this a shop — does it have a cart or checkout?
No, and deliberately so. A calisthenics academy is a service-booking business, so the site has a trial-first booking / enquiry flow instead of an e-commerce cart. The job of the site is to turn searches into booked trials via the Skill Path Planner, programme menu, skill library, timetable, membership cards, booking form and WhatsApp. Even memberships are handled by enquiry rather than a checkout.
Will the design actually stand out, or is it a recoloured gym template?
It is a genuinely distinct academy design — a clean white layout with a vibrant purple accent, an elegant DM Serif display type, a signature visual skill-tree motif and soft rounded buttons — built to read as a modern, credible academy rather than a recoloured gym theme. We customise the brand, colours, type, imagery and copy to you, so it reads as your academy rather than a generic template.
Which platform should I choose — Astro, WordPress or Webflow?
The native Astro build shown in the demo is the fastest and cheapest to run and the best for SEO. Choose WordPress if your team already knows it and wants full control, or Webflow for a visual in-browser editor. The customiser shows the exact price difference for each option.
Can prospects book a trial over WhatsApp and via a form?
Yes. Every build includes Book-a-trial CTAs throughout plus a PDPA-aware trial-booking / enquiry form that routes to your inbox. Add the online class-booking calendar for true self-service slot booking, and CRM integration to pipe trials into your follow-up and membership reminders.
Will the site rank on Google and show up in AI search?
Yes. Every build is delivered with an SEO foundation — clean markup, fast Core Web Vitals, sitemaps and LocalBusiness, Service, FAQ and Review structured data, well suited to local calisthenics searches. The Advanced SEO / AEO pack adds a full schema graph, answer-engine optimisation, optional skill / location pages and Search Console setup so you can be found on Google and quoted by AI assistants. Rankings are never guaranteed.
How is member data handled under PDPA?
We handle information in line with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), and your site is delivered with SSL/HTTPS by default. Trial-booking and enquiry details, including any injury or health information members share at sign-up, are stored securely, consented and never sold, and the forms include PDPA consent wording. If you add a member area, gated content is access-controlled.
What are revisions and how many are included?
A revision is a round of changes you request after seeing your preview — copy tweaks, layout changes, colour adjustments, content edits, Planner skill changes and the like. Three rounds are included free. If you want more breathing room you can add extra rounds at S$200 each in the customiser.
Do I need hosting and maintenance?
No — you can host the site yourself since the code is yours. If you would rather not, add Managed or Pro Hosting and a Care plan in the customiser (billed monthly or annually). Care covers updates, backups, security and small content changes so you can focus on coaching.
