What does a Verdura portfolio actually do for my landscape design studio in Singapore?
It gives you a portfolio that wins design commissions, not just one that looks pretty — live in about a week from S$500 instead of a S$5,000+ custom build. You get a design-led site you can try in the live demo, a Garden Style Finder that turns curious browsers into qualified enquiries, an asset you own outright, and running costs from S$15/mo rather than an open-ended retainer.
Speed and cost are the headline win. A bespoke portfolio from a Singapore web agency typically runs several thousand dollars and drags over weeks of meetings, while a blank template platform is cheap but eats your evenings and rarely shows a garden the way it deserves. The Verdura build gives you a polished, image-led portfolio, customised to your projects and design philosophy, live in 7–14 days from S$500 — so you can send a prospective client a real link this month, not next quarter.
Crucially, it is built to win commissions, not just to be admired. Every element you can click in the live demo earns its place: the full-bleed project grid lets a homeowner picture their own space, the per-project case studies tell the story of the brief and the decisions behind it, and the Garden Style Finder lets a visitor self-qualify — answering four questions about their site, sun, use and upkeep to land on a matched style and an indicative package. That is a far warmer lead than a cold contact form, because they arrive already half-decided.
Finally, it is an asset you own and can grow, not a rental. You keep 100% of the code and a self-editable CMS, so you add a finished garden, refresh your hero grid or update your fees yourself without paying a developer per change. After launch you only pay what you choose — managed hosting from S$15/mo and optional care from S$150/mo — instead of an open-ended retainer. Start lean at S$500, then add a journal, an SEO pack or a deposit-taking enquiry funnel as the work comes in, up to around S$1,800 for a fully loaded build.
- Launch in 7–14 days from S$500 — versus the several thousand dollars and weeks a custom portfolio build typically takes in Singapore.
- Qualified enquiries built in: the Garden Style Finder lets a homeowner self-qualify by space, sun, use and upkeep before they ever fill in the contact form.
- A portfolio that sells the work: full-bleed project grids and case studies that tell the story behind each garden, rooftop and frontage.
- Mobile-first and fast — the way homeowners and developers first open your link from Instagram or an email — with project imagery tuned to Core Web Vitals.
- You own 100% of the code plus a self-editable CMS — add finished projects and edit fees yourself, no agency lock-in or per-change costs.
- Predictable running costs: managed hosting from S$15/mo and optional care from S$150/mo, not an open-ended monthly retainer.

What problems does a done-for-you Verdura portfolio fix that DIY and freelancers don’t?
It removes the things that frustrate most Singapore landscape designers: slow launches, a portfolio that looks like a maintenance company rather than a design studio, projects that load slowly, sites you can’t update yourself, agency lock-in, no SEO and no warm way to enquire. You get a design-led portfolio, a qualifying Garden Style Finder and a build you own outright, live in 7–14 days from S$500.
Most Singapore landscape designers try one of four routes and hit the same wall. A free template looks generic and reads like a lawn-mowing service, not a design studio. A cheap web freelancer can disappear mid-build or hand over something you cannot touch. A full agency may quote several thousand dollars and tie you to their platform. And DIY eats the evenings you would rather spend on site or on a planting plan. The Verdura build is designed to remove each of those frustrations, not just shift them around.
Speed and craft: instead of months of fiddling, your portfolio is customised from a proven, design-led landscape demo and typically delivered in 7–14 days, with projects laid out so each garden reads as a considered piece of work. Positioning: the editorial layout, case-study storytelling, recognition strip and design philosophy help you look like the studio you are — which matters when a homeowner is deciding whether to trust you with their garden over a cheaper installer.
Conversion: this is not a digital brochure that leaks every lead. The Garden Style Finder asks a visitor about their space, sun, use and upkeep and points them to a matched style and indicative package, so the enquiry that lands in your inbox is already qualified and half-decided. A clear consultation-booking form with optional deposit removes the friction that loses a project at the last step.
Ownership and cost: you own 100% of the code and edit everything through a self-editable CMS, so you are never tied to an agency retainer. On-page SEO, GA4 and clean markup are delivered as standard. And pricing is a transparent customiser from S$500 to S$1,800 with 3 revision rounds included — no vague ‘it depends’ invoices.
- Too slow to launch → Your portfolio is built from the live Verdura demo and typically handed over in 7–14 days, so you can pitch with a real link sooner.
- Looks like a maintenance service → Editorial, design-led layout with project case studies and a stated philosophy positions you as a studio, not an installer.
- Slow, heavy project pages → Full-bleed, lazy-loaded imagery tuned to Core Web Vitals so big garden galleries stay sharp and fast on mobile.
- Cold contact form → The Garden Style Finder qualifies the visitor by site, sun, use and upkeep, so enquiries arrive warmer and half-decided.
- Can’t update it yourself → A self-editable CMS plus a plain-English handover manual let you add a finished garden or edit fees without paying anyone.
- Locked into an agency → You own 100% of the code and can host it anywhere; managed hosting (from S$15/mo) and a care plan (from S$150/mo) are optional, never compulsory.
- No SEO foundation → On-page SEO, clean markup and GA4 are delivered as standard, with an advanced SEO/AEO pack available if you want to push harder on visibility.

SGBP vs a Singapore agency, freelancer or DIY — which is right for your landscape portfolio?
For a Singapore landscape design studio portfolio, SGBP customises the live Verdura site in 7–14 days from S$500 to S$1,800, and you own 100% of the code with no lock-in. Singapore agencies typically quote far more over several weeks; web freelancers vary widely; DIY template builders are cheapest in cash but slow and rarely position a design studio well.
Most Singapore agencies do excellent work, but a custom portfolio is often a four- to five-figure scope spread over several weeks of discovery calls, wireframes and revisions — and many keep you on their platform and a retainer. You can end up paying for process you do not need when there is already a proven, design-led landscape portfolio ready to customise to your work.
A web freelancer can be cheaper and faster, but quality, code ownership and follow-up swing widely from person to person — and design-studio touches like a full-bleed project grid, story-driven case studies, a facts panel and a qualifying Garden Style Finder are rarely built in. DIY on a template builder is the lowest cash outlay, but it can quietly cost you evenings, and the result often reads like a generic services page that undersells the design work.
SGBP sits in between on purpose: you start from the live Verdura demo, so you can see exactly what you are buying before you commit, then we customise it to your brand, projects and design voice. Every build is delivered with on-page SEO (with an SEO/AEO upgrade option), SSL, GA4, an enquiry form, PDPA-aware data handling, a self-editable CMS and a handover manual — the things that often become paid ‘add-ons’ elsewhere.
- Time and cost: 7–14 days, from S$500 to S$1,800 one-time, versus the weeks and far higher fees a custom agency build typically involves.
- Ownership: you keep 100% of the code and a CMS you can edit yourself — no agency lock-in.
- See before you buy: the live Verdura demo is the actual product, so there is no guesswork about quality or layout.
- Built for design studios: full-bleed project grid, story-led case studies, a facts panel and the Garden Style Finder are part of the build, not quoted extra.
- Singapore-ready: a consultation-booking form with an optional PayNow deposit, SGD fees and PDPA-aware data handling.
- Optional, not obligatory: managed hosting from S$15/mo and a Care plan from S$150/mo if you want it hands-off — never required to launch.

What is under the hood of your Verdura portfolio?
Under the hood is static-first Astro, exactly what this demo runs on, or a hardened WordPress, Webflow or Squarespace-style build, served over a global CDN with modern image compression and caching. It is fast even with heavy garden imagery, WCAG 2.2 AA accessible, SSL-secured, PDPA-aware, and yours to deploy anywhere.
The native build, exactly what this demo runs on, is static-first Astro with a headless CMS and minimal JavaScript — ideal for an image-heavy landscape portfolio because pages stay light even when a project carries a dozen full-bleed photographs. Prefer a hosted platform? We build a hardened WordPress (+S$250), Webflow (+S$200) or Squarespace-style (+S$200) site instead. Whichever you choose, it is served over a global CDN with modern compression and caching.
We tune hard for Core Web Vitals because imagery is where most portfolios die. Photos are lazy-loaded in modern formats (WebP/AVIF) with set dimensions to avoid layout shift, and the project grid stays snappy on mobile — where most homeowners and developers first open your link. The Garden Style Finder runs as light client-side logic, so it responds instantly without a server round-trip and works even on a patchy connection on site.
SSL/HTTPS and security headers are enforced, the enquiry form is spam-protected, and data handling is PDPA-aware. Add the deposit feature and you get PCI-compliant payments through HitPay, including PayNow, so a client can secure a consultation slot on the spot. You own 100% of the source code, with no lock-in, so you can host with us from S$15/mo or deploy anywhere yourself.

Will my Verdura portfolio rank on Google and get quoted when someone asks an AI for a landscape designer in Singapore?
Every build is delivered search-ready: clean semantic HTML, a JSON-LD schema graph (CreativeWork, ImageObject, Person, FAQ, Breadcrumb), fast Core Web Vitals, XML/image sitemaps and Search Console. Answer-first copy and Singapore signals — SGD fees, PDPA, areaServed Singapore — give Google, AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity and voice assistants the structure they need to surface and quote you. No rankings are guaranteed.
Plenty of done-for-you portfolios are built to look good and little else — images with no alt text, slow pages, no structured data — so neither Google nor AI engines can really tell who you are or what you design. We build the opposite. Your Verdura portfolio is delivered with clean semantic HTML5, correct heading order, descriptive alt text on every project image, canonical tags and a tidy URL structure — the foundation search engines and crawlers reward. Rankings always depend on your niche and competition, but the technical groundwork is done right from day one.
Here is what the jargon means in plain terms. SEO helps you rank on Google for searches like ‘landscape designer Singapore’ or ‘rooftop garden design Singapore’. AEO (Answer Engine Optimisation) and AIO (AI Optimisation) help your portfolio get surfaced and quoted by ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews when someone asks ‘who designs good landed-house gardens in Singapore?’. GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation) makes sure those answers know you serve Singapore specifically. Voice covers Siri, Google Assistant and Alexa — short, spoken-friendly answers they can read aloud.
The engine behind this is a JSON-LD schema graph baked into every page: CreativeWork and ImageObject markup so your projects are machine-readable; Person markup so your principal designer, role and Singapore base are unambiguous; FAQPage so your fees and process answers can be lifted into AI replies; and BreadcrumbList so paths like Portfolio → The Reading Courtyard are crawlable. The advanced SEO/AEO pack adds speakable markup, Bing and Search Console setup and an answer-engine optimisation pass — an optional upgrade on the S$500 base build.
- Clean semantic markup: HTML5 structure, logical headings, descriptive alt text and canonical tags — built for crawlers and AI parsers, not just browsers.
- Full JSON-LD schema graph: CreativeWork, ImageObject, Person, FAQPage and BreadcrumbList — your projects, studio and FAQs become readable by Google and AI engines.
- Fast Core Web Vitals: image-optimised, mobile-first pages — page experience is a Google ranking factor and keeps homeowners from bouncing off a slow gallery.
- Answer-first content: studio, packages and FAQ copy written question-led and concise, so AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity can quote it and voice assistants can read it aloud.
- Sitemaps & Search Console: XML and image sitemaps plus robots.txt submitted to Google (and Bing) so new projects get found and indexed sooner.
- Singapore signals: SGD fees, PDPA-aware data handling, areaServed Singapore and natural local terms like landed, condo, rooftop and HDB so you surface for local searches.
- On-page SEO on every page, included from the S$500 base — titles, meta descriptions, Open Graph and Twitter cards for clean social and AI link previews.
- You own 100% of the code with a self-editable CMS — add a project and its SEO fields and schema update automatically, no developer needed.

What does each page of my Verdura portfolio actually look like?
You get a full landscape design portfolio, not a template: an image-first homepage with a full-bleed project grid, a portfolio index, per-project case studies with story, gallery and a facts panel, a Garden Style Finder, a packages-and-fees page, a studio/about page, a journal and a working consultation-enquiry page — rebuilt with your projects, brand and SGD fees.
We start from the live Verdura demo and rebuild every page around your projects, brand and design voice. Nothing stays as filler: your photographs, project names, locations, copy, packages and studio story replace the demo content, and each page keeps the features that make the demo work — the full-bleed grid, the case-study layout, the facts panel and the Garden Style Finder — wired to your own work.
Every page is delivered mobile-first with clean SEO markup, a spam-protected enquiry form and a self-editable CMS, so you can swap a hero image, add a finished garden or update your fees long after handover. The pages below are what is included in the base S$500 build; portfolio size, journal, advanced SEO and the deposit-enquiry feature are where the customiser adds cost, up to S$1,800.
Singapore signals are built in where they help clients trust and commission you: your fees show in S$, the enquiry form is PDPA-aware, and the optional deposit runs through PayNow / HitPay. You own 100% of the code, and it is typically delivered in 7–14 days.
- Homepage — a full-bleed project photo grid up top (the design-led, image-first hero), a short studio philosophy, a selected-work strip, a Garden Style Finder, a packages preview and a quiet recognition list — all rebranded to you.
- Portfolio — a clean, captioned grid of every project with type and location, so a homeowner can scan your range and click into any garden, rooftop or frontage.
- Project page — a single case study per garden: a full-bleed lead photo, the story of the brief and the decisions, an image gallery, and a facts panel (site, style, package, completed) with an enquire CTA and next steps.
- Garden Style Finder — your signature tool: a visitor answers four questions about their space, sun, use and upkeep and lands on a matched landscape style, an indicative package and a warm enquiry, qualifying themselves before they reach you.
- Packages — your design packages with scope, fees, timeline and deliverables, plus the studio process from first walk-through to handover, so prospects understand exactly how you work.
- Studio (about) — your design philosophy, an honest studio story, a stats band, the team and a recognition list — real, editable copy that builds trust and supports SEO.
- Journal — editorial field notes and an FAQ accordion, an SEO-friendly way to show expertise and answer the questions every homeowner asks before commissioning.
- Reviews — a client-testimonial wall with names, areas and the package each used, for social proof.
- Connect — a working enquiry form that captures the space type, package and a preferred site-visit slot, with WhatsApp and an optional PayNow deposit — PDPA-aware and ready for your inbox.

Can the Verdura portfolio scale from 6 projects to a 20+ archive with a full enquiry funnel as my studio grows?
Yes. Your portfolio starts lean at 6 projects and scales to a 20+ archive with category navigation, plus a journal, a packages section and a full enquiry-to-deposit consultation funnel. Add WhatsApp enquiries and a richer Style Finder as you grow. Because you own 100% of the code, nothing holds you back from extending it.
Most Singapore landscape studios launch with a tight edit and grow the portfolio as gardens complete. The Verdura build is made for that curve. Day one you might show 6 of your strongest projects. As your body of work deepens, the customiser lets you step up to 12, 20, or a 20+ archive with category navigation, so adding a finished garden is a CMS upload rather than a rebuild. The full-bleed grid and case-study layout you saw in the demo keep a large portfolio easy to browse on any phone.
Growth is not only more projects, it is more demand and more ways to be commissioned. The native Astro build shown in the demo is delivered as a fast, static, mobile-first site served over a global CDN, so a magazine feature, a viral post or an awards mention is far less likely to slow it down or run up a server bill, and your optional Managed Hosting keeps it online. (If you choose WordPress, Webflow or a Squarespace-style build instead, you get a hardened, CDN-served build on that platform.) When you are ready to convert more of that attention, add the deposit-taking consultation form, WhatsApp click-to-chat for fast replies, and a richer Garden Style Finder with more styles and packages.
Moving into new lines — commercial greening, developer amenity decks, regional work? A journal, packages pages and a recognition/press strip can all be layered in, with SGD fees and PDPA-aware enquiries staying native for your Singapore clients. The real future-proofing, though, is ownership: you hold 100% of the code with a self-editable CMS, delivered with a handover manual in 7–14 days. You are never trapped by a locked template or an app you cannot change — when your studio outgrows today’s setup, the same codebase extends instead of forcing you to start over.
- Portfolio scales from 6 to a 20+ archive; finished gardens onboard via the CMS with category navigation
- Full-bleed grid and case-study layout keep a big portfolio fast and browsable on mobile
- The native Astro build is static and CDN-served, so it stays fast through a press feature, a viral post or an awards mention; WordPress / Webflow / Squarespace-style builds are hardened and CDN-served too
- Add an enquiry funnel as you grow: consultation form with a PayNow deposit, plus a richer Garden Style Finder with more styles
- Add channels: WhatsApp click-to-chat enquiries and a testimonials / recognition wall
- Add new lines easily: a journal, commercial packages and developer-facing pages, with SGD fees and PDPA-aware enquiries native for Singapore
- You own 100% of the code, so there is no forced re-platform and no lock-in as your studio scales

Can I run my Verdura portfolio myself without a developer?
Yes. Your portfolio is delivered with a self-editable CMS, so you add a finished garden, reorder your work, swap a hero image, edit your fees and tune the Garden Style Finder without touching code. Every task is documented in a plain-English handover manual, and you own 100% of the build. Most non-technical designers get the hang of it quickly.
Running a landscape portfolio is mostly small, repeatable updates: a garden just completed, a fresh hero grid for the season, a tweak to a package fee, a ‘taking projects for late 2026’ note. We build all of this into a clean CMS dashboard, so you log in, change the thing you came to change and hit publish. No staging files, no FTP, no ‘please email the developer’ — your changes go live on the site.
Each module from the live demo has a matching settings panel. Your project photos and galleries, the style and package each garden maps to, the order of your portfolio grid, your studio story and team, the recognition list, the enquiry-form routing and an optional deposit are all configurable from labelled fields, not buried in code. SGD fees are wired into the packages and enquiry pages so everything stays accurate as you grow.
Your portfolio is delivered in 7–14 days with on-page SEO, SSL, GA4 and a PDPA-aware setup. If you ever get stuck, the step-by-step handover manual walks through every task above, and your 3 included revision rounds (plus an optional Care plan from S$150/mo) mean help is on hand. But the day-to-day is genuinely designed for a non-technical designer to run solo.
- Add or edit a project — upload your photos, set the title, location, type, year and story, and it appears in the portfolio grid and case-study pages automatically.
- Reorder your work — drag projects to control what a homeowner sees first, and feature your strongest gardens at the top of the grid.
- Swap a hero or image — change the homepage project grid, a project cover or any photo in a gallery in a click, with new formats compressed automatically.
- Edit your studio & team — update your philosophy, story, stats, team bios and recognition list as your studio grows.
- Update packages & fees — edit your design packages, scope and fees; SGD pricing stays consistent across the site and the Style Finder.
- Tune the Garden Style Finder — adjust the styles, the questions and which package each style maps to from labelled fields.
- Publish a journal post — write a design note in the editor, add a cover image and SEO title/description, and it goes live with clean markup.
- Check your GA4 numbers — see visitors, top projects and enquiry submissions in Google Analytics, so you know which gardens pull commissions and what to promote.

Landscape designer portfolio website — frequently asked questions
Quick answers on cost, ownership, timelines, platforms, the Garden Style Finder, project case studies, image performance, SEO, PDPA and revisions for a done-for-you landscape designer portfolio website in Singapore.
How much does a landscape designer portfolio website cost in Singapore?
A done-for-you landscape portfolio website in Singapore costs between S$500 and S$1,800 with SGBP. The S$500 base covers a complete, mobile-ready, design-led portfolio; the price rises only as you add a platform, more projects, a journal, advanced SEO or a deposit-enquiry funnel. You see the exact figure live in the customiser before you pay.
What exactly do I get for the price?
You get a fully designed and developed portfolio built from the Verdura demo, your projects laid out as case studies with image galleries, the Garden Style Finder tool, a self-editable CMS, full source-code ownership, on-page SEO, SSL, GA4, an enquiry form and a step-by-step handover manual. Everything you select in the customiser is listed in your order summary.
How long does it take to build and launch?
Most portfolios are designed, built and launched in 7 to 14 days from payment. A larger archive, a deposit-enquiry funnel or custom branding can sit at the upper end of that range. We send a private preview link first, you use your revisions, then we launch on your domain.
Do I own the website and can I edit it myself?
Yes. You own 100% of the code and the portfolio outright — there is no licence trap and no agency lock-in. Every build is delivered with a self-editable CMS so you can add finished gardens, reorder your work, swap images and edit fees yourself, with a plain-English manual to guide you.
Which platform should I choose — native, WordPress, Webflow or Squarespace-style?
The native Astro build (shown in the demo) is the fastest and cheapest to run and the best for loading heavy project imagery and SEO. Choose WordPress for full control and plugins, Webflow for a visual editor, or a Squarespace-style builder if you prefer to edit everything visually. The customiser shows the price difference for each.
What is the Garden Style Finder and how does it help me win work?
It is your signature interactive tool. A visitor answers four quick questions — their type of space, how much sun it gets, how they want to use it and how much upkeep they want — and the Finder matches them to a landscape style and an indicative design package, then invites them to enquire. It qualifies the lead before it reaches you, so the enquiries in your inbox are warmer and more serious.
How do the project case studies work?
Each project is a full case-study page: a full-bleed lead photo, the story of the brief and the design decisions, an image gallery, and a facts panel showing the site, style, package and year. It positions you as a design studio with a point of view, not just a gallery of pretty pictures.
Will my heavy project galleries still load fast?
Yes — image performance is the whole point of a design-led build. We serve modern WebP/AVIF formats, lazy-load below the fold, and set image dimensions to avoid layout shift. The native Astro build stays light even with big galleries, which keeps your Core Web Vitals and client first impressions strong.
Will the portfolio rank on Google and show up in AI search?
Yes. Every build is delivered with an SEO foundation — clean markup, fast Core Web Vitals, image sitemaps and structured data. The Advanced SEO / AEO pack adds a full schema graph, answer-engine optimisation and Search Console setup so you can be found on Google for searches like ‘landscape designer Singapore’ and quoted by AI assistants like ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews.
Is my enquiry and client data handled safely under PDPA?
Yes. We handle enquiry and consultation data in line with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), any deposit payments run through PCI-compliant HitPay, and your portfolio is delivered with SSL/HTTPS by default. We never sell your data, and the enquiry form is spam-protected.
What are revisions and how many are included?
A revision is a round of changes you request after seeing your preview — image sequencing, layout tweaks, colour/type adjustments, copy edits and the like. Three rounds are included free. If you want more breathing room you can add extra rounds at S$200 each in the customiser.
Is the design unique or a template?
You start from the proven Verdura design you can see and click in the live demo, then we customise it to you — your studio name, wordmark, colours, projects, copy and fees. It is a tailored build on a battle-tested, design-led foundation, not a generic theme that makes a design studio look like a maintenance company.
Who is this portfolio website right for?
It suits landscape designers and garden studios, but also landscape architects, exterior and outdoor-living designers, vertical-greening specialists and design-led practices in adjacent built-environment fields — any Singapore studio that wins commissions by showing considered, design-led work.
