What does a Lensfield site actually do for my Singapore optical practice?
It turns your practice’s website into a booking engine in about a week from S$900. You get a fast, retail-styled site you can try yourself in the live demo, an eye-test booking / enquiry flow, the signature Lens & Frame Package Builder that prices a pair instantly, an eyewear lookbook with a filter rail, a lens guide, per-service pages and a myopia / eye-care section — all built to turn searches into booked eye tests, and yours to own outright with running costs from S$15/mo.
Optometry in Singapore is a strange split: patients shop for frames like retail, but they choose a practice on trust in the eye test. Plenty of independent opticals run a single Instagram page or a brochure site with an address and nothing to do, so a patient ready to book a test has nowhere to click. Lensfield fixes that: it’s a fast site that looks like a proper eyewear retailer — a promo hero, category card grids, a frame lookbook — but its core call to action is booking a comprehensive eye test, so a browser becomes a booking in a couple of taps.
The signature Lens & Frame Package Builder is the engine. A patient picks a frame tier, a lens type and any coatings, and it shows a clear, itemised SGD total as they go, then drops them into WhatsApp with the package pre-filled to book a fitting. It removes the single biggest friction in buying glasses — not knowing what a pair will actually cost — and sets honest price expectations before anyone walks in. No surprise counter quotes, no pressure.
And it’s an asset you own, not a rental. You keep 100% of the code and a self-editable CMS, so you update frames, lens prices, coatings and the Package Builder yourself without paying a developer per change. After launch you only pay what you choose — managed hosting from S$15/mo and optional care from S$150/mo. Start at S$900, then add an appointment calendar, a patient / prescription area, CRM recall integration or store pages as you grow, up to around S$2,600 for a fully loaded build.
- Launch in 7–14 days from S$900 — a real booking engine, not a single Instagram page.
- The Lens & Frame Package Builder prices a pair instantly and drops patients into WhatsApp to book a fitting.
- A retail shopfront with a service core: it looks like an eyewear retailer but books eye tests.
- A promo hero, eyewear lookbook, lens guide and myopia section built around how people pick an optician.
- You own 100% of the code plus a self-editable CMS — update frames and prices yourself, no agency lock-in.
- Predictable running costs: managed hosting from S$15/mo and optional care from S$150/mo, not an open-ended retainer.

What problems does a done-for-you Lensfield site fix that DIY and freelancers don’t?
It removes what frustrates most independent opticals: an Instagram-only presence with no booking, no way to price a pair or qualify an enquiry, no frame range or lens guide a patient can browse, a look that feels either too clinical or too cheap, sites you can’t edit, agency lock-in, missing local SEO and surprise costs. You get a complete, retail-styled, service-booking optometry website — with the Lens & Frame Package Builder, eye-test booking, an eyewear lookbook, a lens guide and a myopia section — that you own outright, live in 7–14 days from S$900.
Most optical practices trying to fix their web presence hit the same wall. An Instagram page can’t be searched properly on Google, has no booking flow, and turns every enquiry into a DM about price. A cheap one-page site has no frame range, no lens guide and nothing to price. A freelancer can vanish mid-build or hand over something you can’t touch. A full agency may quote thousands and tie you to their platform. Lensfield is designed to remove each of those frustrations.
Speed and conversion: instead of months of theme-wrangling, your site is customised from a proven, retail-styled optometry demo and typically delivered in 7–14 days — with a promo hero, the Lens & Frame Package Builder, an eyewear lookbook, a lens guide, a myopia / eye-care section and an eye-test booking flow that actually turn searches into booked tests.
A look that earns trust: the design is a crisp, monochrome-plus-single-red system with a tight grotesk, image category cards and sharp black buttons, so it reads as a premium independent optician rather than a recoloured template or a sterile clinic. The Package Builder and lens guide do the “how much and which lens” work that an Instagram grid never can — on a site you actually own and can be found on.
Ownership and cost: you own 100% of the code and edit everything through a self-editable CMS, so you’re never tied to a retainer. On-page SEO, GA4 and clean markup are delivered as standard. Pricing is a transparent customiser from S$900 to S$2,600 with 3 revision rounds included — no vague “it depends” invoices.
- Instagram-only with no booking → An eye-test booking / enquiry flow with CTAs on every page.
- Every enquiry is a price DM → The Package Builder prices a pair and routes patients before they reach you.
- Nothing to browse or price → An eyewear lookbook, a lens guide and an instant package builder.
- Looks too clinical or too cheap → A premium monochrome-plus-red retail design, tailored to your brand.
- Can’t edit it yourself → A self-editable CMS lets you update frames, lens prices and services without a developer.
- Locked into an agency → You own 100% of the code; hosting (from S$15/mo) and care (from S$150/mo) are optional.
- Surprise costs → A transparent customiser shows your price from S$900 to S$2,600 up front, 3 revisions included.

SGBP vs a Singapore agency, freelancer or DIY — which is right for your optometry site?
For a Singapore optical practice, SGBP customises the live Lensfield site — Lens & Frame Package Builder, eye-test booking, eyewear lookbook, lens guide and myopia section — in 7–14 days from S$900 to S$2,600, and you own 100% of the code with no lock-in. Singapore agencies typically quote far more over several weeks; freelancers vary widely; a DIY builder is cheapest but rarely converts or balances retail polish with clinical trust.
Most Singapore agencies do solid work, but a custom booking-driven optometry site is often a multi-thousand-dollar scope spread over weeks — and many keep you on their platform. You can end up paying for process you don’t need when there’s already a proven, retail-styled optometry design ready to customise.
A freelancer can be cheaper and faster, but quality, code ownership and follow-up swing widely — and practice-specific touches like the Lens & Frame Package Builder, an eyewear lookbook, a lens guide and an eye-test booking flow are rarely built in. A DIY website builder is the lowest cash outlay, but it rarely converts, seldom balances retail appeal with clinical credibility, and leaves you wrestling templates instead of seeing patients.
SGBP sits in between on purpose: you start from the live Lensfield demo, so you can see and click exactly what you’re buying, then we customise it to your brand and range. Every build is delivered with on-page SEO (with an SEO/AEO upgrade option), SSL, GA4, PDPA-aware forms, a self-editable CMS and a handover manual — the things that often become paid “add-ons” elsewhere.
- Time and cost: 7–14 days, from S$900 to S$2,600 one-time, versus the weeks and far higher fees a custom agency build typically involves.
- Ownership: you keep 100% of the code and your content — no platform lock-in.
- See before you buy: the live Lensfield demo is the actual product, Package Builder and lookbook and all.
- Built to convert: the Package Builder, eye-test booking, promo hero, lens guide and myopia section are part of the build, not quoted extra.
- Singapore-ready: PDPA-aware data handling, local tone and SGD pricing throughout.
- Optional, not obligatory: managed hosting from S$15/mo and a Care plan from S$150/mo if you want it hands-off.

What is under the hood of your Lensfield optometry site?
Under the hood is static-first Astro, exactly what this demo runs on, or a hardened WordPress or Webflow build, served over a global CDN with modern compression and caching. It is fast, WCAG 2.2 AA accessible, SSL-secured and PDPA-aware — and yours to deploy anywhere.
The native build, exactly what this demo runs on, is static-first Astro with a headless CMS and minimal JavaScript. Prefer a familiar CMS? We build a hardened WordPress (+S$250) or Webflow (+S$200) site instead. Whichever you choose, it’s served over a global CDN with modern compression and caching, so it stays fast during a new-collection launch or an ad campaign spike.
We tune for Core Web Vitals: the hero image and frame photos are lazy-loaded in modern formats (WebP/AVIF) with set dimensions to avoid layout shift, so the promo hero, the eyewear lookbook and the interactive Lens & Frame Package Builder stay snappy on every device — including the phones most patients browse from. The Package Builder’s pricing runs efficiently client-side, so the total updates instantly as the patient taps a frame, lens or coating.
SSL/HTTPS and security headers are enforced, the booking and enquiry forms are spam-protected, and data handling is PDPA-aware — important when patients share contact details and appointment reasons. Add CRM integration and every booking pipes straight into your practice CRM or recall system. You own 100% of the source code, with no lock-in, so you can host with us from S$15/mo or deploy anywhere yourself.

- Core Web Vitals tuned; WCAG 2.2 AA accessible, semantic HTML
- Interactive Lens & Frame Package Builder runs efficiently client-side for instant pricing
- SSL/HTTPS and security headers; PDPA-aware handling of booking & enquiry data
- Spam-protected booking & enquiry forms with optional CRM / recall integration
- Clean SEO markup, XML sitemaps and GA4 included as standard
- 100% source-code ownership, no lock-in, deploy anywhere

Will my Lensfield site rank on Google and get quoted by ChatGPT?
Every build is delivered search-ready: clean semantic HTML, a JSON-LD schema graph (LocalBusiness, Optometrist, Service, FAQ, Review, Breadcrumb), fast Core Web Vitals, XML sitemaps and Search Console. Answer-first content and Singapore signals — towns, malls, MRT, PDPA, natural local language — give Google, AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity and voice assistants what they need to find and quote you. No rankings are guaranteed.
Plenty of optical sites are built to look fine and little else — messy markup, slow pages, no structured data — so neither Google nor AI engines can tell what services you offer or where your practices are. We build the opposite. Your Lensfield site is delivered with clean semantic HTML5, correct heading order, descriptive alt text, canonical tags and a tidy URL structure. Rankings always depend on your area and competition, but the technical groundwork is done right from day one.
Here’s the jargon in plain terms. SEO helps you rank on Google for searches like “eye test Bugis” or “children’s myopia control Singapore”. AEO and AIO help your content get surfaced and quoted by ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews when someone asks “where can I get a proper eye test in Singapore?”. GEO makes sure those answers know you serve Singapore specifically. Voice covers Siri, Google Assistant and Alexa.
The engine is a JSON-LD schema graph baked into every page: LocalBusiness and Optometrist markup so your practice and services are machine-readable; Service markup for eye tests, lens replacement and contact-lens fitting; FAQPage so your common answers can be lifted into AI replies; Review markup for trust; BreadcrumbList for structure. The advanced SEO/AEO pack adds speakable markup, Bing and Search Console setup, optional store-location pages and an answer-engine optimisation pass — an optional upgrade on the S$900 base build.
- Clean semantic markup: HTML5 structure, logical headings, descriptive alt text and canonical tags.
- Full JSON-LD schema graph: LocalBusiness, Optometrist, Service, FAQPage, Review and BreadcrumbList — eligible for rich results and readable by AI engines.
- Service pages target high-intent local long-tail: “progressive lenses Orchard”, “Ortho-K Singapore”, “contact lens fitting Jewel” and AI-Overview-style questions.
- Fast Core Web Vitals: image-optimised, mobile-first pages — a Google ranking factor that also keeps patients from bouncing.
- Answer-first content: service copy and FAQs written question-led and concise, so AI engines can quote them cleanly.
- Sitemaps & Search Console: XML and image sitemaps plus robots.txt submitted to Google (and Bing).
- Singapore signals: towns, malls, MRT lines, PDPA-aware handling and natural local language throughout.
- You own 100% of the code with a self-editable CMS — update a service and its SEO fields and schema update automatically.

What does each page of my Lensfield optometry site actually look like?
You get a full practice site, not a single page: a retail promo homepage, an eyewear listing with a filter rail, a frame detail page, a lens guide, per-service detail pages, an eye-care / myopia page, a contact-lenses page, an about page, a stores page, an eye-test booking / contact page, a reviews page, an FAQ and a dedicated page for the signature Lens & Frame Package Builder — rebuilt with your brand, range and tone.
We start from the live Lensfield demo and rebuild every page around your practice, brand and range. Nothing stays as filler: your frames, lens prices, services, copy, imagery, optometrists and reviews replace the demo content, and each page keeps the features that make the demo convert — the promo hero, the category card grids, the Lens & Frame Package Builder, the lens guide and the eye-test booking flow — wired to you.
Every page is delivered mobile-first with clean SEO markup, PDPA-aware forms and a self-editable CMS, so you can swap a hero campaign, add a frame or update a lens price long after handover. The pages below are what’s included in the base S$900 build; site scope, an appointment calendar, advanced SEO, a patient area and CRM integration are where the customiser adds cost, up to S$2,600.
Singapore signals are built in where they help: MRT-linked store references, a local tone, and honest copy throughout. You own 100% of the code, and it’s typically delivered in 7–14 days.
- Homepage — a retail promo hero, a promo-card row, “Explore eyewear” and “Explore contact lenses” image category grids, a campaign band, a services grid, a shop-by-shape row, a frame lookbook, a free-eye-test feature band, the Package Builder, a how-it-works flow, trust pillars and reviews — all rebranded to you.
- Eyewear listing — a retail product grid with a filter rail (tier, shape, colour, for) and a sort row; reserve-in-store, not add-to-cart.
- Frame detail — a large frame image, colour swatches, price, what’s included and a reserve-for-fitting CTA.
- Lens guide — a sub-tab bar, an options-available filter row and red-badge lens option rows, plus lens-detail bands with features and refractive index.
- Service detail — a banner, appointment time and pricing, what’s involved, what’s included, add-ons and related services.
- Eye care — what a comprehensive test includes, plus a children’s myopia-control focus band.
- Contact lenses — clear, monthly, coloured and Ortho-K options with a why-fitting-matters section.
- Lens & Frame Package Builder — a dedicated page hosting the signature tool plus a pricing explainer.
- About — your practice’s story, your registered optometrists, why-us reasons and trust stats.
- Stores — your MRT-linked practices with addresses, hours and per-store booking CTAs.
- Book & contact — an eye-test request form (no cart): reason, store, time and a PDPA-aware consent, plus WhatsApp and your channels.
- Reviews & FAQ — a fuller review wall and an accordion of common questions ready for FAQ schema.

Can the Lensfield site scale from one store to a multi-branch optical group as I grow?
Yes. Your site starts lean at five pages and scales to a 20+ page practice brand with a full frame range, store-location pages, an appointment calendar, a patient / prescription area, CRM recall integration and even a second language. Add WhatsApp booking and enquiry capture from day one. Because you own 100% of the code, there is no platform lock-in holding you back.
Most optical practices launch with one store and broaden as they grow. Lensfield is built for that curve. Day one you might run a tight five-page site with a home, eyewear, services and booking. As you grow, the customiser lets you step up to 10 or 20+ pages, adding a detail page per service, a per-store location page for each branch and an eye-care content engine — so growing the site is a content exercise rather than a rebuild.
Growth is also more channels and more automation. The native Astro build shown in the demo is delivered as a fast, static, mobile-first site served over a global CDN, so a new-collection launch or an ad spike is far less likely to slow it down. When you’re ready, switch on an online appointment calendar so patients self-book an eye-test slot, and add CRM integration so every booking flows into your recall and aftercare reminders.
Serving more languages? A multilingual content layer can be added across key pages, with your Singapore positioning staying native. The real future-proofing is ownership: you hold 100% of the code and your content, delivered with a handover manual in 7–14 days, so the same codebase extends instead of forcing a restart.
- Site scope scales from 5 to 20+ pages; add frames, store pages and an eye-care engine as content rather than a rebuild
- The eyewear lookbook, Lens & Frame Package Builder and booking flow keep a larger site fast and easy to navigate on mobile
- The native Astro build is static and CDN-served, so it stays fast through collection launches or campaign spikes; WordPress / Webflow builds are hardened and CDN-served too
- Automate as you grow: an online appointment calendar plus CRM integration for recall and aftercare reminders
- Add channels: WhatsApp capture, live chat and a patient / prescription area for returning patients
- A multilingual content layer is available for more patients, with your Singapore positioning native
- You own 100% of the code and your content, so there is no forced re-platform as you scale

Can I run my Lensfield site myself without a developer?
Yes. Your site is delivered with a self-editable CMS, so you add and edit frames, lens prices, coatings, the Package Builder’s pricing, services and pages, and check your GA4 numbers without touching code. Every task is documented in a plain-English handover manual, and you own 100% of the build. Most non-technical owners get the hang of it quickly.
Running an optical site is mostly small, repeatable updates: a new frame collection, a lens price change, a fresh campaign hero, an optometrist joining the team. We build all of this into a clean CMS dashboard, so you log in, change the thing you came to change and hit publish. No staging files, no FTP, no “please email the developer”.
Each module from the live demo has a matching settings panel. Your frames and lens prices, the Lens & Frame Package Builder’s pricing, your services, your store details and the booking-form routing are all configurable from labelled fields. The form recipient is editable too, so eye-test bookings reach the right inbox or WhatsApp.
Your site is delivered in 7–14 days with on-page SEO, SSL, GA4 and a PDPA-aware setup. If you ever get stuck, the step-by-step handover manual walks through every task, and your 3 included revision rounds (plus an optional Care plan from S$150/mo) mean help is on hand. But the day-to-day is genuinely designed for a non-technical owner to manage solo.
- Add or edit a frame — set the name, tier, shape, colours and price, and it appears in the lookbook automatically.
- Edit the Package Builder — adjust frame-tier, lens-type and coating prices so totals stay accurate to your pricing.
- Update prices — change any from-price in a click; the site and Package Builder update together.
- Manage services — edit what each service includes and its from-price.
- Edit a page or hero — update the homepage campaign, about and contact copy without code.
- Manage bookings — set the form recipient, store / reason routing and the PDPA consent wording.
- Check your GA4 numbers — see visitors, top frames, Package Builder usage and bookings in Google Analytics.

Optometry & eyewear website — frequently asked questions
Quick answers on cost, what’s included, timelines, ownership, platforms, the Lens & Frame Package Builder, eye-test booking, SEO/AEO, PDPA and revisions for a done-for-you optometry / eyewear website in Singapore.
How much does an optometry / eyewear website cost in Singapore?
A done-for-you optometry website in Singapore costs between S$900 and S$2,600 with SGBP. The S$900 base covers a complete, mobile-ready retail-styled site with the Lens & Frame Package Builder tool and an eye-test booking / enquiry flow built in; the price rises only as you add a platform like WordPress, more pages, an appointment calendar, a patient area or branding. You see the exact figure live in the customiser before you pay.
What exactly do I get for the price?
You get a fully designed and developed site built from the live Lensfield demo, your frames and lens prices set up, the Lens & Frame Package Builder tool, an eye-test booking / enquiry flow, an eyewear lookbook, a lens guide, per-service pages, a self-editable CMS, full source-code ownership, on-page SEO, SSL, analytics, PDPA-aware forms, 3 revision rounds and a step-by-step handover manual. Everything you select in the customiser is itemised in your order summary.
How long does it take to build and launch?
Most optometry sites are designed, built and launched in 7 to 14 days from payment. Larger 20+ page sites, store-location pages, an appointment calendar, a patient area or CRM integration can sit at the upper end of that range. We send a private preview link first, you use your revisions, then we launch on your domain.
Do I own the website and can I edit it myself?
Yes. You own 100% of the code and your content outright — there is no licence trap and no agency lock-in. Every build is delivered with a self-editable CMS so you can add frames, change lens prices and refresh campaigns yourself, with a plain-English manual to guide you.
What is the Lens & Frame Package Builder and how does it help?
It is the signature interactive tool: a patient picks a frame tier, a lens type and any coatings, and it shows a live, itemised SGD total, then drops them into WhatsApp with the package pre-filled to book a fitting. It removes the biggest friction in buying glasses — not knowing the price — sets honest expectations before they walk in, and lands the enquiry warm. It is fully editable in the CMS, so your own frame and lens prices drive it.
Is this a shop — does it have a cart or checkout?
No, and deliberately so. Optometry is a service-booking business at heart: patients choose a practice on the eye test, then buy glasses in-store after a fitting. So the site looks like a retailer — an eyewear lookbook, category grids, a lens guide — but its core action is booking an eye test or reserving a frame for a fitting, not an e-commerce checkout. The Package Builder, lens guide, booking form and WhatsApp do the converting.
Will the design look like a premium optician, or a recoloured template?
It is a genuinely distinct retail-optical design — a crisp monochrome palette with a single red accent, a tight grotesk, image category cards, a frame lookbook and sharp black buttons — built to read as a premium independent optician rather than a sterile clinic or a generic theme. We customise the brand, colours, type, imagery and copy to you, so it reads as your practice.
Which platform should I choose — Astro, WordPress or Webflow?
The native Astro build shown in the demo is the fastest and cheapest to run and the best for SEO. Choose WordPress if your team already knows it and wants full control, or Webflow for a visual in-browser editor. The customiser shows the exact price difference for each option.
Can patients book an eye test online and via WhatsApp?
Yes. Every build includes WhatsApp-first CTAs throughout plus a PDPA-aware eye-test booking / enquiry form that routes to your inbox. Add the online appointment calendar for true self-service slot booking, and CRM integration to pipe bookings into your recall and aftercare reminders.
Will the site rank on Google and show up in AI search?
Yes. Every build is delivered with an SEO foundation — clean markup, fast Core Web Vitals, sitemaps and LocalBusiness, Optometrist, Service, FAQ and Review structured data, well suited to local searches like “eye test near me”. The Advanced SEO / AEO pack adds a full schema graph, answer-engine optimisation, optional store-location pages and Search Console setup so you can be found on Google and quoted by AI assistants. Rankings are never guaranteed.
How is patient data handled under PDPA?
Information is treated under Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), and every site ships with SSL/HTTPS by default. Booking and enquiry details are stored securely, captured with consent and never sold, and the forms carry PDPA consent wording. Add a patient / prescription area and those records sit behind access control.
What are revisions and how many are included?
A revision is a round of changes you request after seeing your preview — copy tweaks, layout changes, colour adjustments, content edits, Package Builder price changes and the like. Three rounds are included free. If you want more breathing room you can add extra rounds at S$200 each in the customiser.
Do I need hosting and maintenance?
No — you can host the site yourself since the code is yours. If you would rather not, add Managed or Pro Hosting and a Care plan in the customiser (billed monthly or annually). Care covers updates, backups, security and small content changes so you can focus on seeing patients.
