A fridge that stops keeping food cold is the appliance people panic over first, and rightly so. Our technician starts by reading the actual symptom — is the fridge warm while the freezer is fine, is the whole unit dead, is it frosting over or leaking — because each points to a different cause. We check the thermostat, the fan, the defrost system, the door seals and the compressor circuit before deciding anything.

Most of what we see is fixable for far less than a replacement: a failed defrost heater that lets the coil ice up, a tired door gasket letting warm air in, a blocked drain making puddles, or a faulty control board. Because we carry the common parts for the popular Singapore brands, plenty of these get sorted on the spot instead of leaving you waiting a week for a component to arrive.

You always get the diagnosis and the parts price before we touch anything, and the callout fee comes off the repair if you go ahead. If the honest call is that the fridge is past saving, we will tell you that too — we would rather lose a repair than have you pay to patch a unit that is on its last legs.
