In this climate a car aircon earns its keep, and a weak one makes every drive miserable. The usual culprits are low refrigerant, a clogged cabin filter, or a tired compressor. We check the cooling output and pressures first, find the actual reason it is blowing warm, and fix that rather than just blindly pumping in gas.
A regas restores the refrigerant to the right level, but when the pressure keeps falling away there is a leak to chase down before anything else — pumping gas over a leak only burns money. We pressure-test, swap the cabin filter that is usually behind weak airflow and musty smells, and can run an anti-bacterial clean through the evaporator to kill the smell at its source.
