A washer that will not drain or spin usually points at a blocked pump filter, a worn drive belt, a failed pump or a balance fault — and a coin or hairclip wedged in the pump is a weekly find for us. We run the machine through a real cycle so we see the fault happen, not just guess from the code.
Front-loaders earn their own visit list: mouldy door seals, leaking boots, and drum bearings that roar on the spin. Bearings are a workshop job, so if that is the verdict we are upfront about the cost against a new machine before you commit.
Top-loaders in older HDB flats are usually a kinder fix — agitators, lid switches and timers are cheap and quick. Whatever you have, we test it end to end before we hand it back so a half-finished job does not come straight back to bite you.
