Lumé is a small, unhurried studio above Cairnhill, where a senior stylist stays with you from the wash basin to the final mirror. We are colour specialists at heart — soft balayage, lived-in brunettes, the kind of grow-out you do not have to fight.

Three spaces, one unhurried feeling
We kept Lumé small on purpose. Each corner of the studio is shaped around how long you’ll be with us — a quick gloss, a long colour day, or somewhere quiet to switch off.

For longer sittings
A screened-off corner with two reclining basins for colour corrections and treatment days — bring a book, we will bring the tea, and nobody will rush you out of the chair.

Renée Saraswati
Renée opened Lumé in 2015 after a decade between salons in Tiong Bahru and London. She is the colourist clients come to when a colour has gone wrong elsewhere, and the one who trains the rest of the team to read hair the way she does.
