Balayage is painted by hand, strand by strand, rather than packed into foils — which is exactly why it grows out so gently. Your colourist reads how your hair falls, where the light catches it, and places brightness only where it would land naturally.

It is the colour we are best known for at Lumé: soft around the face, deeper through the root, with a finish that still looks intentional eight or ten weeks later. Most clients can stretch four to five months between appointments, which suits busy Singapore schedules.

Every balayage begins with a proper consultation and a strand assessment, so we are honest about how many sessions your starting colour will take. Going several shades lighter is a journey, not a single afternoon — and we will tell you that upfront.

Final timing and pricing depend on your hair’s length, density and starting colour, confirmed at your consultation. Results vary from person to person.
