From three. Our Twinkle Tots class is designed for three-and-four-year-olds and runs entirely on play, music and imagination, with a settling-in window where a parent is welcome to stay. From five, children move into our age-tiered Junior, Rising Stars and Senior levels across all five genres. There is no upper age within our school years — our Senior Company runs to sixteen.
Begin with one trial session. Let us know how old your child is and what draws them — ballet, jazz, hip-hop, contemporary or musical theatre — and we’ll slot them into the right level for a no-pressure first class. Plenty of first-timers choose ballet or jazz to build a foundation, though honestly there is no wrong starting point; a trial is simply the surest way to spot the class your child truly comes alive in.
We teach in 13-week terms, roughly aligned to the school calendar, with one class a week per genre. Fees are charged per session at the start of each term — from $24 a session depending on the genre. Enrol in a second genre and our multi-class discount applies; enrol siblings together and the sibling discount stacks on top. Our Class & Term Planner lays out your exact termly fee, with every discount itemised, before you decide.
Yes, and they stack. Take two or more classes a week and a multi-class discount comes off the additional classes automatically. Enrol two or more children from the same family and a sibling discount applies on top. Both are worked out for you in the Class & Term Planner, so a term’s full cost is laid out plainly before you enrol — no surprises, no maths homework.
Yes, every term builds toward our year-end recital — a real stage with costumes and lights, and for most children the highlight of their dancing year. It is a wonderful confidence milestone, but it is never compulsory; if your child prefers not to perform, they are warmly included in class without any pressure. Costume and ticket details are shared well in advance.
If they’d like to. Our ballet syllabus is aligned to RAD expectations, and from the Junior level upward children can prepare for graded examinations as an optional pathway. Exams give a clear, structured measure of progress, but they are entirely voluntary — plenty of our dancers stay purely for the joy of it, and that is just as celebrated.
We keep our classes intentionally small so each dancer is noticed and gently corrected, rather than lost among forty others. Every teacher is trained in their discipline, first-aid certified and background-checked, and the studios have viewing windows so you can watch from outside without distracting the room. Caps vary by age and genre — just ask, and we’ll tell you the cap for the class you have in mind.
There are two Twirl studios, both right on the MRT line: Twirl @ Bukit Timah is a six-minute stroll from Beauty World station, while Twirl @ Tampines sits directly above Tampines station. Each is a bright, purpose-built space with sprung floors, full-length mirrors and a comfortable parents’ waiting area with viewing windows. You’ll find the full addresses and directions on our contact page.
Every family’s details are looked after carefully and consistent with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). Whatever you give us stays secure and serves a single job: organising your child’s classes, keeping you posted on term and recital news, and answering your questions. There’s no selling on, no marketing spam, and no handing your details to third parties.
