More than a show — a milestone
Every term at Twirl builds toward our year-end recital, and it is genuinely the highlight of our dancing year. There is something transformative about a child stepping onto a real stage, in a costume they’re proud of, and showing their family everything they’ve learned.
The confidence it builds reaches far beyond dance — into classrooms, presentations and friendships. We prepare every dancer carefully so the day feels exciting rather than daunting, with dress rehearsals, clear schedules and lots of encouragement. And for any child who would rather not perform, there is never any pressure; they’re warmly part of class all the same.

What recital day looks like
A real theatre stage
Our year-end recital is held on a proper stage with lights, wings and a full audience — not a studio with the chairs pushed back.
Costumes & the full experience
Every dancer gets a costume for their number. The dress rehearsal, the backstage buzz, the bow at the end — it’s the part children remember for years.
Every level performs
From Twinkle Tots to the Senior Company, every class has a piece. Performing is encouraged and celebrated, but never compulsory.
Captured properly
Professional photography and video mean you can be fully present in the audience and still relive the moment afterwards.
Camps, intensives & open house
Beyond term classes, there’s always something happening at Twirl.
June Holiday Dance Camp
A week of multi-genre fun for ages 5–11 — ballet in the morning, hip-hop and musical theatre in the afternoon, a mini-showcase on the Friday.
Open House & Trial Day
Twice a year we throw the studio doors open: free taster classes across every genre, meet-the-teachers, and a tour of both studios. Bring a friend.
Exam Preparation Intensives
Short, focused intensives for dancers preparing for graded RAD examinations — extra coaching and mock assessments in the run-up.
Come and have a look around
Visit our next open house, or simply book a trial class any week of the term. We’d love to meet your little dancer.
