Guitar is the instrument most people teach themselves halfway and then get stuck — so our lessons are built to get you past the plateau. We start with the songs that made you want to play, and quietly fold in the technique that lets you keep getting better instead of repeating the same three chords forever.

How we teach guitar
Whether you lean acoustic, electric or classical, your teacher meets you where you are. Beginners build clean chord changes and a reliable strum; more experienced players work on fingerstyle, lead lines and the feel that separates playing notes from playing music. We cover reading too, in whatever form fits — tab, chord charts or notation.
For students who want a goal, Trinity Rock & Pop grades give structure and a real sense of progress, and classical guitar grades are available for those drawn that way. But plenty of our guitarists simply want to play well at gatherings and jam with friends — and that is an absolutely valid goal we are happy to build towards.
