Piano is where most of our students begin, and for good reason — you can see the whole map of music laid out under your hands, which makes everything that follows easier to understand. We start young children with short, playful lessons built around games and songs they recognise, so the habit of practice forms before it ever feels like work.

How we teach piano
For older beginners and adults, we move at the pace that suits you: enough structure to genuinely progress, never so much that it stops being enjoyable. Whether your goal is to play a few songs well or to work steadily through ABRSM or Trinity grades, your teacher maps a path to it and adjusts it as you grow.
Every student gets their own weekly slot with the same teacher, so the relationship and the progress build together. We keep parents in the loop with honest notes after lessons, and we mark the milestones — a first piece played hands-together, a grade passed — because those are the moments that keep a young musician coming back.
