What it involves
The first few months shape a dog for life, and getting the early socialising right pays off more than almost anything else you’ll do for a puppy. Our puppy socials are small, age- and size-matched sessions where young pups meet appropriate playmates, friendly people, new surfaces and gentle sounds — all carefully managed so every experience is a good one.
It is not a free-for-all. We keep groups tiny, watch closely, and step in to keep play soft and confidence-building. Pups learn bite inhibition, how to read other dogs, and that the big wide world is a friendly place — the foundation that prevents so many fear and reactivity problems later.
We also build in calm handling — being touched, having paws and ears checked, settling on a mat — so vet visits and grooming are easier for life. Owners get notes on how their pup is doing and simple things to practise at home.
Good for
Puppies roughly 3–6 months, in their key socialisation window.
A typical daycare day
Every dog’s day follows the same gentle rhythm — active, rested and supervised throughout.
