What this class is like
Rhythm & Hip-Hop is our choreography class — the one where you walk out knowing an actual routine to a song you love. We break current hip-hop, pop and Afrobeats tracks into bite-sized eight-counts, drill them slowly, then run the whole thing full-out to the music.
It scales nicely. First-timers get the foundation moves and plenty of repetition; more confident dancers add the styling, the attitude and the sharper hits. The vibe is encouraging and a little bit cheeky — nobody here takes themselves too seriously.
Beyond being a great workout, it builds real coordination and confidence that carries into every other class on our timetable. Plenty of people come for this and end up hooked on the whole studio.
