What does a Lattice Architects portfolio actually do for my practice in Singapore?
It gives a practice a portfolio that wins commissions, not just one that looks refined — live in about a week from S$500 instead of a S$5,000+ custom build. You get a quiet, image-first site you can try in the live demo, a Project Brief Estimator that helps prospects self-qualify, an asset you own outright, and running costs from S$15/mo rather than an open-ended retainer.
Architecture is sold on credibility and the quality of the work shown, and most practice websites quietly undersell both. A bespoke site from a Singapore agency typically runs several thousand dollars and drags over weeks of meetings, while a blank template platform is cheap but crushes your projects into slow, cramped grids that make a serious body of work look ordinary. The Lattice build gives you a calm, editorial, image-first portfolio — customised to your projects and studio — live in 7–14 days from S$500, so you can send a real link to a prospective client this month.
Crucially, it is built to convert enquiries, not just to be admired. Every element you can click in the live demo earns its place: a full-bleed photo hero that lets a hero project carry the first impression, a filterable work index so a developer can jump straight to residential or commercial, per-project image sequences and a lightbox that let your buildings breathe at full size, and the signature Project Brief Estimator that lets a prospect see an honest fee band and programme before they even write to you — warming the lead and filtering out the unworkable ones.
Finally, it is an asset you own and can grow, not a rental. You keep 100% of the code and a self-editable CMS, so a new project handover becomes a CMS upload rather than a developer ticket. After launch you only pay what you choose — managed hosting from S$15/mo and optional care from S$150/mo — instead of an open-ended retainer. Start lean at S$500, then add a journal, an SEO pack or a deeper archive as the practice grows, up to S$1,800 for a fully loaded build.
- Launch in 7–14 days from S$500 — versus the several thousand dollars and weeks a custom practice site typically takes in Singapore.
- Signature Project Brief Estimator built in: prospects self-qualify on type, scale and scope and see an indicative fee band and programme.
- Image-first and editorial: full-bleed project sequences and a lightbox that present a serious body of work the way it deserves.
- Mobile-first and fast — the way most clients first open your link — with heavy architectural imagery tuned to Core Web Vitals.
- You own 100% of the code plus a self-editable CMS — add projects and edit pages yourself, no agency lock-in or per-change fees.
- Predictable running costs: managed hosting from S$15/mo and optional care from S$150/mo, not an open-ended monthly retainer.

What problems does a done-for-you Lattice portfolio fix that DIY and freelancers don’t?
It removes the things that frustrate most Singapore practices: slow launches, a site that makes good work look generic, project galleries that load slowly, sites you can’t update yourself, agency lock-in, no SEO and no clear way for a prospect to enquire or gauge a fee. You get a complete, image-first portfolio with a Project Brief Estimator you own outright, live in 7–14 days from S$500.
Most architecture and design studios in Singapore try one of four routes and hit the same wall. A free template looks generic and squeezes your projects into slow, cramped grids. A cheap web freelancer can disappear mid-build or hand over something you cannot touch. A full agency may quote several thousand dollars and tie you to their platform and a retainer. And DIY eats the studio hours you would rather spend designing. The Lattice build is designed to remove each of those frustrations, not just shift them around.
Craft and credibility: instead of months of fiddling, your portfolio is customised from a proven, editorial architecture demo and typically delivered in 7–14 days, with project pages laid out so each building loads sharp and full-bleed. The calm, near-monochrome design and a clear studio statement help a younger or boutique practice look established from day one — which matters when a developer or a private client is deciding whom to trust with a real budget.
Conversion and qualification: this is not a digital brochure. The filterable work index, per-project sequences, a full-screen lightbox and the signature Project Brief Estimator are all built to move a visitor from admiring your work to making a real enquiry — and the estimator quietly filters out the briefs that were never going to fit your fee. Most beautiful practice sites leak every lead because there is no obvious next step and no honest way to talk about cost.
Ownership and cost: you own 100% of the code and edit everything through a self-editable CMS, so you are never tied to an agency retainer. On-page SEO, GA4 and clean markup are delivered as standard. And pricing is a transparent customiser from S$500 to S$1,800 with 3 revision rounds included — no vague ‘it depends’ invoices.
- Too slow to launch → Your portfolio is built from the live Lattice demo and typically handed over in 7–14 days, so you can pitch with a real link sooner.
- Makes good work look generic → A calm, editorial, near-monochrome design and full-bleed project sequences present a serious body of work properly.
- Slow, cramped galleries → Full-bleed, lazy-loaded image sequences and a lightbox tuned to Core Web Vitals, so heavy architectural sets stay sharp and fast on mobile.
- Can’t update it yourself → A self-editable CMS plus a plain-English handover manual let you add a project, swap a hero or edit a page without paying anyone.
- Locked into an agency → You own 100% of the code and can host it anywhere; managed hosting (from S$15/mo) and a care plan (from S$150/mo) are optional, never compulsory.
- No SEO foundation → On-page SEO, clean markup and GA4 are delivered as standard, with an advanced SEO/AEO pack available if you want to push harder on visibility.
- No way to enquire or gauge a fee → A structured project-enquiry form plus the Project Brief Estimator, so prospects have an obvious next step and an honest first number.

SGBP vs a Singapore agency, freelancer or DIY — which is right for your practice portfolio?
For a Singapore architecture, interiors or landscape practice, SGBP customises the live Lattice site in 7–14 days from S$500 to S$1,800, and you own 100% of the code with no lock-in. Singapore agencies typically quote far more over several weeks; web freelancers vary widely; DIY template builders are cheapest in cash but slow and rarely do an architectural body of work justice.
Most Singapore agencies do excellent work, but a custom practice site is often a four- to five-figure scope spread over several weeks of discovery calls, wireframes and revisions — and many keep you on their platform and a retainer. You can end up paying for process you do not need when there is already a proven, editorial, image-first architecture portfolio ready to customise to your projects.
A web freelancer can be cheaper and faster, but quality, code ownership and follow-up swing widely from person to person — and practice-specific touches like a filterable work index, full-bleed project sequences, an Info facts table, a full-screen lightbox and a Project Brief Estimator are rarely built in. DIY on a template builder is the lowest cash outlay, but it can quietly cost you studio hours, and the result often crushes your buildings into slow, generic grids that undersell the work.
SGBP sits in between on purpose: you start from the live Lattice demo, so you can see exactly what you are buying before you commit, then we customise it to your studio, projects and disciplines. Every build is delivered with on-page SEO (with an SEO/AEO upgrade option), SSL, GA4, an enquiry form, PDPA-aware data handling, a self-editable CMS and a handover manual — the things that often become paid ‘add-ons’ elsewhere.
- Time and cost: 7–14 days, from S$500 to S$1,800 one-time, versus the weeks and far higher fees a custom agency build typically involves.
- Ownership: you keep 100% of the code and a CMS you can edit yourself — no agency lock-in.
- See before you buy: the live Lattice demo is the actual product, so there is no guesswork about quality or layout.
- Built for a practice: filterable work index, full-bleed sequences, lightbox, Info table and the Project Brief Estimator are part of the build, not quoted extra.
- Singapore-ready: a PDPA-aware project-enquiry form, SGD / %-of-cost fee logic and local terms (BCA, URA) where they help.
- Optional, not obligatory: managed hosting from S$15/mo and a Care plan from S$150/mo if you want it hands-off — never required to launch.

What is under the hood of your Lattice Architects portfolio?
Under the hood is static-first Astro, exactly what this demo runs on, or a hardened WordPress, Webflow or Squarespace-style build, served over a global CDN with modern image compression and caching. It is fast even with heavy architectural imagery, WCAG 2.2 AA accessible, SSL-secured, PDPA-aware, and yours to deploy anywhere.
The native build, exactly what this demo runs on, is static-first Astro with a headless CMS and minimal JavaScript — ideal for an image-heavy practice portfolio because pages stay light even when a project carries a dozen full-bleed frames. Prefer a hosted platform? We build a hardened WordPress (+S$250), Webflow (+S$200) or Squarespace-style (+S$200) site instead. Whichever you choose, it is served over a global CDN with modern compression and caching.
We tune hard for Core Web Vitals because project galleries are where most practice sites die. Images are lazy-loaded in modern formats (WebP/AVIF) with set dimensions to avoid layout shift, the lightbox preloads the next frame, and the filterable work index stays snappy on mobile — where most developers and private clients first open your link. The Project Brief Estimator runs entirely client-side, so it is instant and adds nothing to your page weight.
SSL/HTTPS and security headers are enforced, the project-enquiry form is spam-protected, and data handling is PDPA-aware. You own 100% of the source code, with no lock-in, so you can host with us from S$15/mo or deploy anywhere yourself. The whole stack is chosen so a small studio can run a fast, professional website without a developer on call.
- Static-first Astro, or a hardened WordPress, Webflow or Squarespace-style build
- Image-optimised: lazy-loaded WebP/AVIF, set dimensions, lightbox preloading for heavy project sets
- Core Web Vitals tuned; WCAG 2.2 AA accessible, semantic HTML
- SSL/HTTPS and security headers; PDPA-aware enquiry handling
- The Project Brief Estimator runs client-side — instant, no added page weight
- Clean SEO markup, XML/image sitemaps and GA4 included as standard
- 100% source-code ownership, no lock-in, deploy anywhere

Will my Lattice portfolio rank on Google and get quoted when someone asks an AI for a Singapore architect?
Every build is delivered search-ready: clean semantic HTML, a JSON-LD schema graph (CreativeWork, ImageObject, Person, FAQ, Breadcrumb), fast Core Web Vitals, XML/image sitemaps and Search Console. Answer-first copy and Singapore signals — SGD fees, PDPA, areaServed Singapore, BCA/URA context — give Google, AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity and voice assistants the structure they need to surface and quote you. No rankings are guaranteed.
Plenty of done-for-you practice sites are built to look refined and little else — images with no alt text, slow pages, no structured data — so neither Google nor AI engines can really tell who you are or what you build. We build the opposite. Your Lattice portfolio is delivered with clean semantic HTML5, correct heading order, descriptive alt text on every project image, canonical tags and a tidy URL structure — the foundation search engines and crawlers reward. Rankings always depend on your niche and competition, but the technical groundwork is done right from day one.
Here is what the jargon means in plain terms. SEO helps you rank on Google for searches like ‘landed house architect Singapore’ or ‘landscape architect Singapore’. AEO (Answer Engine Optimisation) and AIO (AI Optimisation) help your practice get surfaced and quoted by ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews when someone asks ‘who is a good residential architect in Singapore?’. GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation) makes sure those answers know you serve Singapore specifically. Voice covers Siri, Google Assistant and Alexa — short, spoken-friendly answers they can read aloud.
The engine behind this is a JSON-LD schema graph baked into every page: CreativeWork and ImageObject markup so your projects are machine-readable; Person markup so your principals and Singapore base are unambiguous; FAQPage so your fee and process answers can be lifted into AI replies; and BreadcrumbList so Work → Residential → Nassim Grove House is crawlable. The advanced SEO/AEO pack adds speakable markup, Bing and Search Console setup and an answer-engine optimisation pass — an optional upgrade on the S$500 base build.
- Clean semantic markup: HTML5 structure, logical headings, descriptive alt text and canonical tags — built for crawlers and AI parsers, not just browsers.
- Full JSON-LD schema graph: CreativeWork, ImageObject, Person, FAQPage and BreadcrumbList — your projects, principals and FAQs become readable by Google and AI engines.
- Fast Core Web Vitals: image-optimised, mobile-first pages — page experience is a Google ranking factor and keeps clients from bouncing off a slow gallery.
- Answer-first content: studio, discipline and FAQ copy written question-led and concise, so AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity can quote it and voice assistants can read it aloud.
- Sitemaps & Search Console: XML and image sitemaps plus robots.txt submitted to Google (and Bing) so new projects get found and indexed sooner.
- Singapore signals: SGD fees, PDPA-aware data handling, areaServed Singapore and natural local terms (BCA, URA, districts) so you surface for local searches.
- On-page SEO on every page, included from the S$500 base — titles, meta descriptions, Open Graph and Twitter cards for clean social and AI link previews.
- You own 100% of the code with a self-editable CMS — add a project and its SEO fields and schema update automatically, no developer needed.

What does each page of my Lattice Architects portfolio actually look like?
You get a full practice portfolio, not a template: a full-bleed photo homepage with an overlay menu, a filterable work index, per-project case studies with image sequences and an Info facts table, a disciplines section, a studio/about page with your principals, an approach/process page, the Project Brief Estimator, a journal and a project-enquiry page — rebuilt with your work, studio and SGD fee context.
We start from the live Lattice demo and rebuild every page around your projects, studio and disciplines. Nothing stays as filler: your images, project names, locations, copy and people replace the demo content, and each page keeps the features that make the demo work — the full-bleed hero, filterable grid, project sequences, lightbox, Info table and the Brief Estimator — wired to your own practice.
Every page is delivered mobile-first with clean SEO markup, a spam-protected enquiry form and a self-editable CMS, so you can swap a hero project, add a new completion or update a discipline page long after handover. The pages below are what is included in the base S$500 build; portfolio size, journal, advanced SEO and the estimator/enquiry features are where the customiser adds cost, up to S$1,800.
Singapore signals are built in where they help clients trust you: fees referenced in S$ and as a percentage of construction cost, the enquiry form PDPA-aware, and BCA/URA context where it is natural. You own 100% of the code, and it is typically delivered in 7–14 days.
- Homepage — a viewport-filling photo hero with a giant wordmark and an overlay (hamburger) menu, a category strip, a single thin studio statement, a selected-work rhythm of full-bleed projects, the Project Brief Estimator and an Explore grid — all rebranded to you.
- Work index — the filterable, staggered project grid as a full page, so a developer or private client can jump straight to residential, commercial, interiors or landscape and click through to any project.
- Project page — a single case study per project: a thin title with a location/year subline, a full-bleed hero, a short story of the brief, a staggered image sequence opening into a lightbox, and an Info facts table (location, type, discipline, year, status).
- Disciplines — an overview plus a page per discipline (architecture, interiors, landscape, master planning) explaining what each engagement includes, with related work.
- Studio — your practice story, principles, an honest stats band and your principals with short bios — real, editable copy that builds trust and supports SEO.
- Approach — your five-stage process from first conversation to completion, plus a frank note on how design fees work in Singapore.
- Project Brief Estimator — the signature tool: a visitor picks project type, scale and service scope and sees a matched engagement, an indicative design-fee band and a programme, then carries the selection straight into a WhatsApp enquiry.
- Journal — field notes and studio thinking with clean article markup, plus a client-voices section for credibility.
- Contact — a structured project-enquiry form (name, mobile, email, type, site/district, timeframe, brief) with PDPA consent, your studio details and a FAQ accordion.

Can the Lattice portfolio scale from 6 projects to a 20+ archive across four disciplines as the practice grows?
Yes. Your portfolio starts lean at 6 projects and scales to a 20+ archive with faceted discipline navigation, plus a journal, discipline and approach pages, and the Project Brief Estimator. Add a client-voices wall, an Instagram feed and WhatsApp enquiries as you grow. Because you own 100% of the code, nothing holds you back from extending it.
Most Singapore practices launch with a tight edit of their strongest projects and grow the body of work as completions land. The Lattice build is made for that curve. Day one you might show 6 of your best buildings across residential and commercial. As the practice deepens, the customiser lets you step up to 12, 20, or a 20+ archive with faceted discipline navigation and tags, so adding a new project is a CMS upload rather than a rebuild. The filterable work index and full-bleed sequences you saw in the demo keep a large body of work easy to browse on any phone.
Growth is not only more projects, it is more enquiries and more disciplines. The native Astro build shown in the demo is delivered as a fast, static, mobile-first site served over a global CDN, so a feature in an architecture publication or an award announcement is far less likely to slow it down or run up a server bill, and your optional Managed Hosting keeps it online. (If you choose WordPress, Webflow or a Squarespace-style build instead, you get a hardened, CDN-served build on that platform.) When you are ready to convert more of that attention, the Project Brief Estimator, a client-voices wall, an Instagram feed and WhatsApp click-to-chat are all available.
Moving into new lines — interiors, landscape, master planning, regional work? Each gets its own discipline page, with SGD and percentage-of-cost fee context and PDPA-aware enquiries staying native for your Singapore clients. The real future-proofing, though, is ownership: you hold 100% of the code with a self-editable CMS, delivered with a handover manual in 7–14 days. When the practice outgrows today’s setup, the same codebase extends instead of forcing you to start over.
- Portfolio scales from 6 to a 20+ archive; large bodies of work onboard via the CMS with faceted discipline navigation and tags
- Filterable work index and full-bleed project sequences keep a big archive fast and browsable on mobile
- The native Astro build is static and CDN-served, so it stays fast through a press feature or an award announcement; WordPress / Webflow / Squarespace-style builds are hardened and CDN-served too
- Add disciplines as you grow: a page each for architecture, interiors, landscape and master planning
- Add channels: the Project Brief Estimator, a client-voices wall, an Instagram feed and WhatsApp click-to-chat
- SGD and percentage-of-cost fee context plus PDPA-aware enquiries stay native for Singapore clients
- You own 100% of the code, so there is no forced re-platform and no lock-in as the practice scales

Can I run my Lattice portfolio myself without a developer?
Yes. Your portfolio is delivered with a self-editable CMS, so you add a new project, reorder your work, swap a hero image, edit a discipline page and check your GA4 numbers without touching code. Every task is documented in a plain-English handover manual, and you own 100% of the build. Most non-technical studios get the hang of it quickly.
Running a practice portfolio is mostly small, repeatable updates: a new completion to add, a fresh hero project for the homepage, a tweak to a discipline page, a refreshed principal bio. We build all of this into a clean CMS dashboard, so you log in, change the thing you came to change and hit publish. No staging files, no FTP, no ‘please email the developer’ — your changes go live on the site.
Each module from the live demo has a matching settings panel. Your project images and sequences, the discipline each project belongs to, the order of your work grid, the Info facts (location, type, year, status), your studio statement and principals, the journal, and the Project Brief Estimator’s fee bands and programme assumptions are all configurable from labelled fields, not buried in code.
Your portfolio is delivered in 7–14 days with on-page SEO, SSL, GA4 and a PDPA-aware setup. If you ever get stuck, the step-by-step handover manual walks through every task above, and your 3 included revision rounds (plus an optional Care plan from S$150/mo) mean help is on hand. But the day-to-day is genuinely designed for a non-technical studio to run solo.
- Add or edit a project — upload your image set, set the name, location, year, type and discipline, write a short story, and it appears in the work grid, filters, sequence and lightbox automatically.
- Reorder your work — drag projects to control what a client sees first, and feature your strongest buildings at the top of the grid and the homepage.
- Swap a hero — change the homepage photo hero, a project cover or any image in a sequence in a click, with new formats compressed automatically.
- Edit your studio & people — update your practice statement, principles, stats and principal bios as the studio grows.
- Tune the Brief Estimator — adjust the fee bands and programme assumptions behind the estimator so the guide it shows stays true to your practice.
- Configure enquiries — set the project-enquiry routing, point WhatsApp to your number, and run a test submission.
- Publish a journal note — write a project note or studio piece in the editor, add a cover image and SEO title/description, and it goes live with clean markup.
- Check your GA4 numbers — see visitors, top projects and enquiry submissions in Google Analytics, so you know which work pulls clients and what to promote.

Architecture portfolio website — frequently asked questions
Quick answers on cost, ownership, timelines, platforms, project galleries, the Brief Estimator, image performance, SEO, PDPA and revisions for a done-for-you architecture practice portfolio website in Singapore.
How much does an architecture portfolio website cost in Singapore?
A done-for-you practice portfolio website in Singapore costs between S$500 and S$1,800 with SGBP. The S$500 base covers a complete, mobile-ready, image-first portfolio with the Project Brief Estimator; the price rises only as you add a platform, more projects, a journal or branding. You see the exact figure live in the customiser before you pay.
What exactly do I get for the price?
You get a fully designed and developed practice portfolio built from the Lattice demo, your projects laid out as case studies with full-bleed image sequences and a lightbox, the Project Brief Estimator, a filterable work index, a self-editable CMS, full source-code ownership, on-page SEO, SSL, GA4, a project-enquiry form and a step-by-step handover manual. Everything you select in the customiser is listed in your order summary.
How long does it take to build and launch?
Most practice portfolios are designed, built and launched in 7 to 14 days from payment. A larger archive across four disciplines or custom branding can sit at the upper end of that range. We send a private preview link first, you use your revisions, then we launch on your domain.
Do I own the website and can I edit it myself?
Yes. You own 100% of the code and the portfolio outright — there is no licence trap and no agency lock-in. Every build is delivered with a self-editable CMS so you can add projects, reorder your work, swap images and edit pages yourself, with a plain-English manual to guide you.
Which platform should I choose — native, WordPress, Webflow or Squarespace-style?
The native Astro build (shown in the demo) is the fastest and cheapest to run and the best for loading heavy architectural imagery and SEO. Choose WordPress for full control and plugins, Webflow for a visual editor, or a Squarespace-style builder if you prefer to edit everything visually. The customiser shows the price difference for each.
How does the Project Brief Estimator work?
It is the signature tool you can try live in the demo. A visitor picks their project type (new build, renovation, interior fit-out or landscape), the scale (private home, multi-unit or commercial) and the service scope (concept, full service or design and build). The estimator instantly returns a matched engagement, an indicative design-fee band as a percentage of construction cost, and an indicative programme — then lets them carry the selection into a WhatsApp enquiry. The bands are fully editable to match your own practice.
Will my heavy project galleries still load fast?
Yes — image performance is the whole point of an image-first build. We serve modern WebP/AVIF formats, lazy-load below the fold, set image dimensions to avoid layout shift, and preload the next lightbox frame. The native Astro build stays light even with full-bleed project sequences, which keeps your Core Web Vitals and client first impressions strong.
Will the portfolio rank on Google and show up in AI search?
Yes. Every build is delivered with an SEO foundation — clean markup, fast Core Web Vitals, image sitemaps and structured data. The Advanced SEO / AEO pack adds a full schema graph, answer-engine optimisation and Search Console setup so you can be found on Google for searches like ‘residential architect Singapore’ and quoted by AI assistants like ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews.
Is my enquiry data handled safely under PDPA?
Yes. We handle project-enquiry data in line with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), and your portfolio is delivered with SSL/HTTPS by default. We never sell your data, and the enquiry form is spam-protected.
Can you add a journal, a client-voices wall or an Instagram feed?
Yes — all three are options in the customiser. A journal pulls in free search traffic with project notes and studio thinking, a client-voices wall adds credibility, and an Instagram feed keeps your latest work showing without manual updates. You can add them at launch or later, since you own the code.
What are revisions and how many are included?
A revision is a round of changes you request after seeing your preview — project sequencing, layout tweaks, type and tone adjustments, copy edits and the like. Three rounds are included free. If you want more breathing room you can add extra rounds at S$200 each in the customiser.
Is the design unique or a template?
You start from the proven Lattice design you can see and click in the live demo, then we customise it to you — your wordmark, palette, projects, disciplines, copy and people. It is a tailored build on a calm, editorial, image-first foundation, not a generic theme dump that crushes your buildings into a slow grid.
Who is this portfolio website right for?
It suits architecture practices, but also interior architects, landscape architects, urban designers and design-led build firms in Singapore who win work by showing it. Anyone who needs a calm, image-first portfolio, a filterable work index and an honest way for clients to enquire and gauge a fee will get value from it.
Do you reference BCA, URA and Singapore fee norms?
Where it helps. The demo and your build use natural Singapore context — districts, BCA/URA framing where relevant, fees referenced in SGD and as a percentage of construction cost — so your site reads as a local practice. We are happy to tune the language to how your studio actually talks about its work.
