Yes — message us on WhatsApp with your drink, your collection time and which bar, and we’ll have it ready at the counter so you walk straight past the morning rush. It’s the same fresh-pulled cup, just timed to you. We don’t pre-make milk drinks, so order-ahead simply means we start it as you arrive rather than holding a cup that’s gone cold.
It’s a quick taste-matcher, not a quiz with one right answer. You tell it how you take your coffee — roast, with or without milk, brew method and the flavours you lean towards — and it scores every drink and bean we make against your answers, then recommends one pour to order and one bag of beans to take home, each with tasting notes and a price. It’s our signature little tool, and a genuinely good way to find your cup if you’re new to specialty coffee.
We do — every bean we serve and sell is roasted in small batches at our Telok Ayer bar, usually weekly, and rested a few days before it reaches your cup. The roaster sits in the same room as the espresso machine, so the coffee genuinely travels a few steps from drum to cup. You can buy any of our house beans by the bag, freshly roasted, and we’ll grind them to your brew method if you ask.
Oat and almond milk are both available on any milk drink, and we don’t charge extra for them — we’d rather you have the coffee the way you actually want it. Our baristas are happy to recommend which plant milk suits which drink; oat tends to pair beautifully with the dark mocha, while almond keeps a flat white lighter. Just say the word when you order.
Depends which one. Home Barista Basics is two hands-on hours on real machines learning to pull a shot and steam milk; Filter & Brew at Home is ninety minutes of pour-over, AeroPress and cold brew with no machine needed; and the Cupping & Tasting class is a guided flight of single origins to train your palate. All are small-group, beginner-friendly and led by our own team, and you leave with recipe cards and — for the barista class — beans to practise on. Reserve a seat on the workshops page or over WhatsApp.
We have two: the flagship espresso bar and roastery at 42 Telok Ayer Street in the CBD, a minute from Telok Ayer MRT, open weekdays from 7.30am; and a quieter brew-led bar at 78 Yong Siak Street in Tiong Bahru, near Tiong Bahru MRT. Weekend hours are a little gentler at both. The outlets page has exact addresses, opening times and a map for each — pick whichever is closer to you.
Yes to both. We host private cupping sessions and barista classes for small teams, and we can supply brewed coffee, beans or a pop-up bar for office events and gatherings around the CBD and central Singapore. The simplest way is to WhatsApp us your date, rough headcount and the kind of thing you’re after, and we’ll put together an honest plan and quote. We keep it small and personal rather than a catering machine.
At the bar we take PayNow, contactless cards and the usual e-wallets, and order-ahead is settled on collection. Any details you share through this site — your name, number or order — are used only to take and prepare your order or reply to your enquiry, held in line with Singapore’s PDPA, and never sold or passed on. The forms here ask for the few things we genuinely need and nothing more.
