Bugis needed a proper late-night Thai option and this one delivers. The kitchen runs hot well past midnight, and you can taste it — the pad kee mao came out with genuine wok hei and a chilli level that made me reach for the iced tea.
The som tum is pounded to order and properly funky; ask for it Thai-spicy if you can take it. The crab omelette is fluffy and generous, and pairs beautifully with the smoky noodles.
Service is brisk and a little chaotic in the best way. Perfect after a night out — just know the queue grows after midnight on weekends.

Smoky, fierce, late-night Thai done right — a new supper staple.
New Eats The omakase newcomer everyone in Tanjong Pagar is whispering about
A 12-seat counter tucked above a Tanjong Pagar shophouse, and easily the most assured omakase opening I’ve eaten at this year.
New Eats I tried the new Korean fried chicken joint in Tampines so you don’t have to queue blind
Shatteringly crisp, properly spicy, and the cheese-corn side is the sleeper hit. Here’s exactly what to order.
Cafés The Tiong Bahru brunch corner I keep going back to
Fluffy ricotta pancakes, a flat white that actually tastes of coffee, and enough natural light to make your photos do the work for you.
